American idiot has aged pretty well, but don't act like that was worthwhile
The promise behind the trilogy was "we are cleaning out the closet in order to start fresh". There was an album worth of good material out of 40 tracks and it was understandable that the rest was filler you could take or leave. Then Revolution Radio was a dogshit album anyway. Its lead singles were great and every other song was an utterly boring ballad going nowhere with shitty lyrics. Then Father of All was an unironic 0/10.Recommend the demos they just put out from nimrod. I've been waiting for them to get old enough to just start releasing old shit like that for a while and it paid off.

Cloud rap?vapor trap?
Sure thing Pulp Godd, keep inflating yourself and your shit music and maybe you'll gain one new listener. People hate you because you're a literal shill. I hate sematary and panchiko too but you're still actively shilling here while those other artists actually have a following and no longer need this board. I bet it hurts doesn't it? They beat you at your own game and amassed loyal retards who gobble their shit up while you sit and seethe. I fucking hate dismiss yourself and the retards it spawned like you but if there is one silver lining its that like how a tranny will never be a real woman, you will literally never be a real, successful artist, not even in the art of shilling. You will forever be where you are, stuck behind on trends that are long past their prime clinging for whatever minor success you will never actually obtain. And thats all you will ever be. See you in the shill thread tomorrow, champ. Make it a nice one, you've been slacking recently.

Brian Wilson had spent years idolizing Phil Spector, and he was so excited when he finally got the chance to invite him to watch him produce songs. It was a chance of a lifetime for Brian, and he was determined to make a good impression. When Phil arrived, Brian started playing the music he had been working on. But when the first few notes left his guitar, everyone in the room could tell that something was wrong. The noise that came out of the speakers was the most horrendous sound anyone had ever heard. Phil Spector's face was one of shock and disbelief."What is this?" he asked. "This isn't music. It sounds like a bag of cats being thrown down a staircase."Brian was embarrassed and ashamed. He had worked so hard on this music, only to have it ridiculed by the person he admired most. Phil shook his head in disgust before leaving to hang out with Jimi Hendrix, who Phil later claimed was way smarter and infinitely more talented than Brian ever was.Brian was left standing there in shock, completely humiliated. He wanted to cry, but he had no tears left to shed. Just then, he heard the sound of laughter coming from the corner of the room. It was Mike Love, laughing at Brian's stupidity. Brian wanted to crawl into a hole and die, and he wished he had never invited Phil Spector in the first place.

>Fast Freddy? Never heard of 'em, not interested in your hot dog stand, brian!
Mike Love was rocking the stage, playing his classic hits for the thousands of people in attendance. People were singing, dancing, and having the time of their lives. Meanwhile, Brian Wilson was stuck in the back of the venue, working the Fast Freddy's concession stand. He had been asked to man the stand while Mike Love was playing his concert, and he was feeling a little bit envious as he watched everyone else having fun.He started to get into the rhythm of flipping burgers and hot dogs, but unfortunately, his nerves started to get the best of him. Every time he bent down to grab a burger or a hot dog, he would let out a loud, unexpected fart. Customers were not too thrilled about this, and began to leave the stand in droves. Brian Wilson was devastated, and tried to make it up to them by offering free samples of the food. But each time he did, he would take a bite out of the samples before handing them out. Eventually, no one was left at the stand. As Mike Love finished his set, Brian Wilson was left alone with the concession stand, feeling embarrassed and dejected. He knew he would never hear the end of this from Mike Love, and he was thankful that at least he still had the burgers and hot dogs to keep him company.
Is it just me or does anyone else find the mixing of stratovarius absolutely awful, I love the music but it seems the vocals are hard to hear because the bass is high and the trebles just bleed across each other so its all just a massive noise so you don't get low lows and high highs, theres barely and balance. So I've started making my own eq setting.Thoughts?
For example in Glory of the World the mixing is all fucked, when he sings "The wonder of it all My heart was blind, but now I see I know the power and the glory of the world" - Even with equalizer settings the mixing doesn't change and it all becomes flat so you don't get that oomph with the climax. In contrast Boston is spot on in this stuff, for the most part.
>>114857654I agree
This is unironically one of my favorite albums mixing wise, and especially guitar tonehttps://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=OLAK5uy_lTSgAd7k_4B0-dKNiwF0EP3eXY5YOrabwBut OP probably doesn't even listen/know Tolkki era vocals Stratovarius. Mikko Karmila is a legendary mixer/producer.

what do we think of this album?
Also, the video for the song Pursuit is really, really good. Like, really good.
>>114859127Destinations is the only decent track. Meme artist. It's as >>114859469 says - just a bunch of hype generated by normies hearing something approaching the sound of modern techno for the first time. If you evaluate it as a techno album it's over polished and flat sounding. If you evaluate it as a pop album I guess it's decent but only compared to pop which is total garbage. Also "gessaffelstein" is the most midwit artist name imaginable.
Where's he at now tho

After listening to it a few times I don't mind his voice (I didn't like it the first time). Good album but I feel like there's 3 or 4 too many songs here. I definitely want him to try something like this again.
