Got bobobo. He is great, but when did the bases get so big?

Here is my complete nendo collection so far.

Cool lights

I've been waiting for more Nendoroid More stuff - like, bodies centered around a theme - but haven't noticed any new sets, or reruns either.

Why are they so rare? I'd like to buy some, but not at eBay prices.
>>
How's the quality of these bug-eyed cute things?
>>
>>10946835
At least everything made by GoodSmileCompany is great. Some other companies seem sloppier.
>>
>>10946840
Neat, checking some reviews it seems certain figures have a decent range of articulation, not everyone of course. But which would be the average movement they have?
>>
>>10946920
Articulation is very minimal. The gimmick is swapping their hair/faces/bodies.
>>
>>10946920
I have a few, most arms are locked and you can only articulate at the shoulder and wrist, and if not built for a specific pose the legs rotate a little bit at the knees and waist. Hair is extremely hit and miss. Vast majority of the time you're swapping out parts rather than moving them around

Thanks. I'm looking forward to adding a few more nendos to this shelf. Got 5 more on the way and will be content with 10.

Pretty good although some of my nendoroids from 2024 so far have had questionable QC. Mainly my Knuckles nendoroid having the peg to his leg snap right out of box.

Do the nendoroid doll hands work with regular nendos?

OK. I opened her and I must say I'm pleasantly surprised. The amount of accessories and display options don't make me feel as bad.

>>10953248
Dang, that's cool. Is the swooshy shit part of her box as well? I thought it was just the rubble... I guess there's enough neat shit in there, odds are fair even if they do re-release her, the box contents will be downsized a bit like they did with the Colossal Titan so you may yet not regret splurging on the original.
>>
>>10953280
No the green effect is from something else, I just thought it looked cool. I don’t remember what from though unfortunately.

Sorry, my post was a bit misleading. The effect is the tamashii green wind effect I had lying around. I purely meant the rocks, faces, hair, arms, leg, etc. I can imagine having some fun with her if they release fubuki.

I also got his guy today.

It's been fun getting back into nendo's, but now I remember why Istopped. With so many cool characters it can become a slippery slope very quickly.

3 more to arrive and I'm out again :)

they gotta rerelease the yotsuba nendo eventually right? they recently rereleased the little witch academia nendos so the resellers of those were btfo, now it needs to happen to yotsuba nendo resellers
i already paid 65 usd for a ~13 usd figure and ~40 for a 6 usd figure thanks to inflated aftermarket prices. yotsuba merch is pretty old

Posted a while ago about a problem I had with shipping. Support didn't do shit. Months later and they just told me to pound sand. lmao
If there's a lesson to be learned here: 1) Before ordering be absolutely 200% sure your address has no mistakes whatsoever. 2) Don't buy shipping insurance, it doesn't do shit. 3) For the love of fuck, don't use USPS. Pay a bit extra and go for UPS.

I’m still upset they didn’t include the noose with Sayori, especially considering they included one with another Nendoroid, Itoshiki Nozomu. Guess I’ll have to track him down.

did he ever make anything besides that tiny game and some comics? Like what the fuck does he even live from
>>
>>10960610
The money from the licensing for Nendoroids alone are probably enough for your average person to live on for a long time.
>>
These are too expensive for the amount of engineering and plastic they entail.
>>

>>
>>10960868
>too expensive
a relative term when the cost of living around the globe varies wildly. $50 is tip money where I live.
>>
>>10960924
$50 USD is tip money? You must live in Neo-Atlantis. I can only imagine what a single figure must cost there.
>>
This man enjoys nendoroids more than all of you combined
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xyCMkUlGGpE
>>
>>10960934
That means his nendroids control him, rather than him controlling the nendroids. He is forced to make photography of them running and interacting for their enjoyment, and he can never touch them without gloves. Daily he must pose them to give them the variety of life experiences of a normal human, while for most /toy/goers they just A pose the figures after awhile
>>
>>10960924
It's not relative to the cost to buy other action figures that have better engineering, articulation and the amount of plastic though.
>>
>>10960927
>I can only imagine what a single figure must cost there.
If I had to buy from the few bookshop and toy outlets we have I'd be broke as everything is 400% markup. Imagine living in a tourist resort and paying those prices for everything 24/7. Thank god for the internet and direct imports.

>>10960975
Depends what you buy. Most good action figures are $100-500 for 1/12 and 1/6. You can get most nendos for like less than $50, so they are cheap in comparison.
>>
>>10960995
Nendos have less articulation than a Marvel Legend though, although usually a few more accessories. I think 25 would be a fairer price for a nendo.
>>
>>10960610
>>10960799
He just make the game, comics and merchandise to get enough money for his true love: cooking
https://danbooru.donmai.us/pools/16037

Anyway, I want MORE!!! were are my nendo Judgement, Beelzebub, Zdrada, Malina, Pandemonica, Azazel, Loremaster, Subject 67 and Helltaker!
>>
>>10961048
Marvel Legends are painted like shit and looks hideous with ugly inaccurate sculpts and cheap plastic
>>
>>10961048

>>10961052
this. they also depend on a bunch of reuse which typically results in minor inaccuracies for every figure they put out. every nendo is uniquely sculpted from scratch.
>>
>>10961052
>>10961065
Better sculpts don't really require more money.

Minor inaccuracies aren't that big an issue. Some pieces of Nendos definitely look like reuse, for example the legs on 3 Doki Doki Literature Club members could easily be reused without being inaccurate. Same for the skirts on all 4 and maybe even the torso sculpts on 2. That is of course natural due to the uniform. Some anime nendos have opportunities for such reuse as well due to partly shared character designs.

Many of the stands are also almost assuredly usually the same molds. There is reuse, they just don't push it as much as MLs.

More than likely the real reason nendos cost more is due to being made in smaller numbers and not being available that widely, as a more niche product, which drives up the cost of production.

To be fair, after the last few thread deaths, it's taken several days for someone to float a new thread, so it's a novelty at least.
