But I’m not sure Sonic R makes the cutoff if we’re talking decent racing games. I’d say its just a semi real car racing list but it included Death Throttle and Street Racer. Also where’s WipEout 1 & 2? because they’re easily top 10 on the system. Cyber Speedway and even Scorcher belong here too. I’m it didn’t include the ultra-shitty Saturn Wave Race game.

I played the psx port on emulator, it's a dating sim/sprite based drag racer/dungeon crawler/princess maker. And the art is really bad but the hodgepodge of genres was intriguing enough for me to keep playing for a little while. Haven't tried 湾岸トライアルlove or Code R but I read that the former wangan love handles bad.
