the only worthwhile racer on the system for westerners.

>on the system for westerners.
what does this even mean

where does the maybe come from? was it a traslation error?

The codriver prepares notes before the race. If there’s some uncertainty about whether the driver should actually take the turn at the expected speed, then it’s a maybe.

Wrong. Need for Speed port is great. F1 Challenge is great. Manx TT is great. Picrel is great but makes daytonafags seethe for taking more skill than the arcade version.
Also it's forgotten now but Andretti Racing was a big deal when it was new.

Some of these are shit and some are only ok. Not saying there weren’t great racers on Saturn but this chart is padded high with garbage.

>Destruction Derby is way better on other consoles.
>Same with a few others like Impact Racing and Road Rash.
>There’s 3 Daytonas, 3 Sega Rallys and 2 Need for Speeds (Nissan OversDriven R) to pad out 5 squares of extra space. Daytona has really 2 versions that vary a bit but why play any version of Sega Rally but the final Netlink version?
>Hang-On GP is a bad game.
>Gale Racer is really pushing the lower limits of ok.
>Death Throttle is shit.
>Is Outrun even really racing?
>A few of the Jap only games are good, like Drift King. A few others I can’t pronounce are decent. But plenty weren’t localized for a reason. Lots of pop-in, bad controls, very basic driving mechanics.

You didn’t include Sonic R and its better than half the games on this list. But I’m not sure Sonic R makes the cutoff if we’re talking decent racing games. I’d say its just a semi real car racing list but it included Death Throttle and Street Racer. Also where’s WipEout 1 & 2? because they’re easily top 10 on the system. Cyber Speedway and even Scorcher belong here too. I’m it didn’t include the ultra-shitty Saturn Wave Race game.

I remember some anon on here buying it on collectors impluse. I don't even think he liked it but him mentioning it amoung his other purchases is how I found about it. I played the psx port on emulator, it's a dating sim/sprite based drag racer/dungeon crawler/princess maker. And the art is really bad but the hodgepodge of genres was intriguing enough for me to keep playing for a little while. Haven't tried 湾岸トライアルlove or Code R but I read that the former wangan love handles bad.

What's the difference between Circuit Edition and CCE Netlink Edition which got a US release?
>>
>>10883486
Apparently Netlink edition is based on Japanese CE. The only difference is music tracks on the disc:
