well, /vp/?
cycling road is a bridge
>>55797189this
>>55797196Holy FUCK I somehow forgot that cycling bridge is somehow a fucking multi-day long trek.
>>55797196Cool!>>55797239Nah regions are smol, 10 year olds cross them like nothing
>>55797184The SS Anne dives into the deep water (like in Hoenn) offscreen.
>>55797196>S.S. Anne loses power just at the right moment to crash into and collapse the Cycling Road bridge
>>55797184It's a fucking bridge.
I think the real question is, where did it go? Better yet, why did it wait until after the player steps off the ship? What might have happened if the player stayed on board? Hmm. Maybe I'll reveal the answer sometime soon. I think this project has been in the works for long enough...
>>55797632The anime arc of the SS Anne was canon, but neither Red nor Blue were on it during its sinking.
>>55797676Yes, that's true. Definitely not Red or Blue. But perhaps others. Heroes of a different story altogether...
>>55797632> where did it goFrom kanto to kanto, idiot
>>55797414Good morning Baaaaaaltimore
>>55797695I just don't think that can be known for sure. Certainly not yet. The true destination of that great ship... I think there could be many possibilities.
>>55797239Cycling road is the faster way to get to Fuchsia City rather than going south from Lavender Town so it feels like a shorter journey. Plus there are less trainers.
>>55797196isn't cycling road a drawbridge?
One of FRLG's many sins was not using the improved gen3 visuals to show that cycling road was a bridge, like it was depicted in every map of the region ever made. They don't even have an excuse, RSE had all those elevated wood bridges over water to base the terrain on.
>>55797184Gen1 is a better open world game than gen 9 and it wasn't even trying to be.
>>55797184The road is 4 levels above sea level
>>55797184Now that we're at it, where did the moving truck from gen III go to? And how did it even get there?
Fuck those bikers
>>55797981*raughs* I don't really know
>>55798529this one I've always wondered about. the Pokemon world never really seemed to have the infrastructure for automobiles, otherwise why do people travel through backwoods routes instead of along roads? I could maybe see trucks being used sparingly in Kanto or Unova, but Hoenn is a stretch. did they off road those trucks through the jungle?
