The Endbringers don't have their cotre in an obvious location, so what most likely happens is she hits one without killing it then dies when it counters and she's not fast/durable enough to survive. The other anon said it's like Sting, but it's actually worse, since Sting can be used at range.

Tinker options for Alchemical Solutions jump.

Relatively normal tinker power but with a focus that goes well with Alchemicals.
>Robotics & Enhancement (Free): Creating various forms of robotics systems is a common staple among tinkers even if independent machines are viewed with suspicion even when they lack true intelligence. Fortunately in addition to such suspicious technology your specialty also lends itself quite well to the far more PR friendly area of power armor, as robots that can be worn as suits of armor tend to be much more pleasant to those worried about a second Machine Army developing in your workshop. Of course if you don’t care about silly things like PR there is a rather useful ‘wet’ aspect to your specialty in the form of cybernetic implants, in fact the other ways you could make use of this power may just be a side dish for this aspect since your efforts to create or improve on cyborgs or similar technorganic beings seem to be where it shines brightest.

Weaker in context version of tinker of fiction.
>Field Roulette (200): Every 28 days your specialty as a tinker will change; one month you may be focused on robotics, next you may have a programming specialty, and after that a type of biotech might end up as your primary focus. Despite changing each month you’ll retain access to whatever you’ve created or even just studied sufficiently from prior ones, though improving on past works will be significantly more difficult than your current specialty it’ll remain available to use together with it or other technologies from your ‘permanent catalog’. Studying the projects of other tinkers may allow you to add their work to your repertoire as well however this will be much slower and less efficient unless related to your own active specialty. Given time and improved understanding of your power it may be possible to actively choose to get a past specialty again, however you’ll never be able to keep the same one consecutively.

Cont.
>>
>>92740814
Unless she never uses it until she meets Scion (which seems suboptimal, because she couldn't practice), she'll have used it, which would allow the Shards to observe her.
>>
>>92740834
Open ended specialty defined by it's limit rather than a certain field, ala Leet or String Theory.
>Progress & Optimization (400): Rather than specializing in any given field or category your abilities are broader, able to vastly improve and expand the capabilities of any piece of technology you’re able to acquire. Given just mundane equipment to start with you could rapidly improve or create better versions of it to create impressive works of tinker tech, naturally this only becomes stronger as you gain access to better tools and resources to work with for even further improvements to your projects. Much like other extremely powerful tinkers wielding open ended specialties your power’s capabilities are not determined by what you can make but by its limitations. This provides no assistance with creating something from scratch, requiring either existing technology, normal engineering skills, or preferably another tinker’s work as a starting point.

No, I got sick of bitching about SB making generic worm fanfic jumps instead of just making one for an actual fanfic.

So I'm doing one. The first anon to suggest a fanfic suggested Alchemical Solutions so that's what it's gonna be.

>>
>>92740882
I think Wobbly Punches is fine if you accept 3 things
>Kuzuki had above peak human stats which were multiplied tenfold by Medea
>Saber and Medusa were nerfed to hell by their shitty masters
>Kuzuki's fighting style specifally is only useful during the first encounter and further encounters are easy losses to him.
but it becomes bullshit when people claim he could beat literally everoyne during a first ecnounter.

But yeah the whole tracing a weapon and copying the users skills and stats was super stupid to just randomly introduce and never use again. Like it's fine in HF because the arm was killing Shirou, but it makes Archer ever losing so stupid.
>>
>>92740912
The ship I made with my Tinker power from Worm, because fuck you.
>>
>>92740741
Invincible got a pretty broken Clone Vat item
>Cloning Tubes (100 CP): A set of two cloning tubes is now yours jumper. So long as you jump in one, and have enough power. A perfect clone of you will jump out of the other, a perfect copy of all of your powers, abilities, and memories, including entering the tube in the first place. Neither you nor your clone will be able to determine who was the originator, so I hope you like working together.
>For +100 CP you have changed the tubes. Now your clone comes out knowing it’s a clone, subservient to you and only has a copy of the powers you permit it to have. While it is generally subservient, be careful as it isn’t mind control: if you push it too far your clone may snap and try to kill you

otherwise the jump also has a Science perk that also makes you good at clone tech.

Archer kind of doesn't lose though. Like he's actually kind of busted as a Servant when he's trying to win. Like always with Servants, the problem is his attitude.

>>
>>92740948
nta, but the Shard wouldn't let you, their range only ranges a bit farther than the moon, so any spaceflight would be limited to that region.

The point of powers in worm is to help the entities run an experiment on earth, you leaving earth isn't something they would want, they also wouldn't want people escaping earth in masses.

So with all the talk of Nobilis have a build. And a start for a new theoretical chain.
Jumpers a average guy with some not so average abilities. No real connections with the supernatural world but not long into the Jump a Noble notices he see's through whatever helps hide things from Mortals. He ends up befriending a Familila. That kinda appreciates having someone to talk to freely outside of themselves. Though he does end up listening to a lot of there troubles and being a bit of a Krillin/Speedwagon like supporting character for them. Occasionally getting kidnapped by Exrcuains to draw the Familila into a trap or the like. Only to... end up basically becoming a therapist for said Excrucians and there woes against creation as well.
I wonder how long it'll take for him or the others to notice he's not exactly a normal person. Probably not long but its funny to think about. Maybe he can convince Cneph to give him fiddle lessons in between being tossed between exrucians and Nobles like a tennis ball.

Jump 1: Nobilis

Starting a chain with Nobilis is pretty much the same as starting in DYN Freaks, it's basically an abortion.
>>
>>92740974
>By and large, the shards would sabotage attempts at going to space. Even Sphere's moon base was probably doomed from the start.
>It is a built-in limitation. Individuals could theoretically leave (Legend?), but mass transportation options would likely be sabotaged (like a Squealer spacehulk, or Sphere's power, for example).
>They tend to be missing /current/ limitations; the ban on space travel is something that would be long-established, valid across multiple species. Other stuff varies for different plans of attack and the like.
They don't stop working, in theory individuals like Legend can leave. But some shards, specially tinker ones, will fuck you over and it wouldn't work.
>>
What even is Nobilis
I had never even heard of it before this thread
>>
>>92741087
I would assume that leaving orbit would lead to a rapid loss of power given what happens when you enter Shard Space and get further away from your portal into the place.

characters in setting think differently
>Powers don’t work in space. We’re tethered to the agents and if you move far enough away the power doesn’t feed in. You wouldn’t get any tinker inspiration. When Sphere was trying to build the moon base, he had to build on Earth and send stuff up.
>>
>>92740912
Picking up basically anything from Elite Dangerous, though the Anaconda and the type-9 heavy are both old standbys for me. I'd say the Treeship from Tenchi Muyo! but I hardly ever use the TM! jump despite really liking the setting because it just throws too many OC waifu's at me and that's a pain in the ass to keep track of. There's also the metroid spaceship you get just for showing up but if I'm being honest I mainly go there for the power armor.

I think the ship I end up getting the most is probably the Infinity from Halo UNSC and then using that as a base to build up from for other imports or just in-jump upgrading. That said the agent cruiser from Crackdown is probably my new go-to for using as a base ship since it has an auto-upgrading property, even if strictly speaking it doesn't start out as a spaceship.

Druidzilla was a real thing back in the day. 4e and 5e nerfed a lot of druid spells and a lot of self buffing and buffing in general along with nerfing their animal shapes. Back in the day, you could turn into a buffed up, hasted, t rex that could cast spells.
>>

5e was a giant nerf to lethality, both in that your spells and abilities are weaker and that it is much harder to die. You really have to fuck up to die in 5e, it's pure journo mode.
>>
>>92741840
It's just stupid. Why would a rock have a soul?
>>
>>92741867
Yeah, pretty much. Bounded accuracy is a spook, the game is balanced so you don't die. The fact that dozens of weak fucks could kill a high level guy with bows means jack when there's 0 scenarios in which that happens. I did like the lair action stuff. The idea that a high level mage or monster has some different effect on it's base makes perfect sense

Just found out they finished enough of the translation patch for Endless Frontier EXCEED in the last year or so to get to the end of the story, so that's nice... And as a tangentially related consequence of the JP dub only voice lines, the weapon-flipped Wodan that is the final boss tries to one-up TTGL by applying his weapon felling "foes and stars alike" line to his drill-spear, so it's claimed to "bore through foes and the stars both" instead of just treating the verb used as 'pierce'.

The major breakthrough at the time was considered just LEGALISING big businesses at all. Yes, at the time it was considered revolutionary /in the context of Standard fucking Oil/ but United States Steel Corporation just lobbied for tariff protection by claiming to be one of the “good” trusts. Literally all you have to do is be less greedy than a Captain Planet villain, and you can game the system with modern corpo buzzwords to keep your (effective) monopoly (call it something else like a “patriotic job-creation scheme”, especially when Europe’s war kicks into overdrive)

Oh yeah and reminder that the 1930s cover the New Deal which. Do I really have to say more? Everyone was so fucking confused by what the antitrust laws were actually supposed to be banning that some commentators perceived the FTC as being in contradiction to the Clayton Act. To put it another way, FORD survived with good PR simply by lowering prices, raising wages, investing in manufacturing efficiency and opening up more positions in middle management.

Don’t get me wrong, the anti-corporate laws were a breath of fresh air compared to what came before in the form of some nob enjoying kickbacks from his mates in exchange for selling/not selling X amounts of Ys or giving someone’s retarded cousin a seat on the board, but for a Jumper capitalist they’re not a fiat ban on being able to make gobs of cash at the expensive of human suffering. They’re just a skillcheck.

Sure. I’m not disagreeing. I’m just saying that even during one of the most allegedly antitrust eras in human history, a lot of big companies beat the allegations with some restructuring and lobbying.

Two questions.

Is resurrecting the dead with the Witch Girl reality Warping perk in the SCP jump temporary?

Which canon or version of the world is the safest, where I don’t have to worry about the SCP foundation drilling a hole in my head?
>>
>>92743343
How big was your graduating class? Out of those 2000, only so many would be school aged kids. They would have most of the town eyes on them looking for trouble. Then word just spreads..
>>
>>92743366
No, they're smaller one man titans. Even a warhound has a main pilot and two secondary ones but knights are one man run mechas.
>>
>>92743337
Honestly on paper a Baneblade seems like it would be worth more just by sheer armor and firepower it has unless we are talking one of the rarer Questoris types.
>>
>>92743369
>Which canon or version of the world is the safest, where I don’t have to worry about the SCP foundation drilling a hole in my head?
That seems like the one thing that would be a constant no matter what continuity
>>
>>92743360
Pretty good so far. Managed to finish up Power Armor and Cybernetics. Got a good chunk of the Vehicles done, but I might have to cut down on that. It's getting a bit chunky. Maybe I'll have to cut down on the ships too.

After that, I'll be moving on to psyker powers, the companions, and the drawbacks. Overall, I'd say about 5/8 of the way done.

>>92743368
Fair.

>>92743373

Worms are cute and adorable, and so is the ability to inhabit dead worlds. Embracing the Worm will objectively lead to superior life quality, survivability and sense of community for your entire species. There is objectively nothing wrong with joining the Worm, and it’s other species’ problems if they can’t cope with their inferior non-achronal alleles being left behind.

And to answer Nameless Anon’s question from a prior thread: The Synth Queen is welcome too.

>>92743369
Depends on the continuity, and any mainline SCP continuity that also has Wilson’s Wildlife. Because last I checked the writers for Wilson’s Wildlife refuse to let anything go wrong with it, whether from evil girlbosses taking over and gaslighting everyone or one of the animal anomalies seriously harming the staff and facility.

>>92743182
Nechronica, Transistor, Marvel (but it’s really not worth it for Marvel specifically)

What's your favorite Alchemical Caste and why? It feels like the Orichalcum Caste are the best because they're the ones associated with the Solars but that seems like a dumb answer.
>>
>>92743395
I have a Capitol Imperialis as a 400 CP, and a Deathstrike Launcher and a Mobile Cathedral at around 500 CP.

However, I am thinking of cutting those off since the vehicles section already has 13 vehicles.
>>
>>92743408
200 in that scale sounds reasonable then.

I'm deeply confused as to why an Inquisitor would want or need those, I could see a Knight in the retinue or a Baneblade for a personal bit of heavy armor when going into highly dangerous situations when needed but why a mobile command bunker?

Personally I’m a sucker for the Adamant Caste because it both feels like the end result of an Exalt caste adapting to the dystopic, communist and above all else ORBITAL societies of the Eight Nations. It makes sense to me. In a culture where the worker is given as much priority as the hero, your outstanding wunderkinds are more Tony Stark than Conan the Barbarian, and the prevalence of the police state eventually means you’re going to get extra-secret service glowie castes when things are going so badly that nobody currently has a viable plan to fix voidcancer.

Did you know Alice Kuonji has a rival character of her own?

This is May Riddel Archelot. She's also a Witch-a Meinster Witch, even! She was Alice's childhood friend and even named a number of Alice's Ploys. Not only that, but she's also a popstar idol. She even has her own special magecraft called "Goblin Nest" which...we don't know really anything about. But it lets her "avoid" things, such that she can dodge raindrops during a storm to avoid getting wet, pilot a helicopter in a very stupid way that somehow manages to avoid crashing it, and somehow can use her magecraft to call people even when phone lines are cut. She exists, she is relevant. Roll for her waaah

I'm pretty sure Nasu forgot that she's a thing.

I can’t parse this sentence but somehow I completely intuit the meaning behind it. I spent all of yesterday in a fugue figuring out my Hades 2 meta build and doing endless runs.

I’ve come to pity non-autists. Not only will they never understand the simple joys of getting into a flow state and watching the numbers go up, but it seems like between COVID, work-life imbalance and every government losing it’s shit adult socialisation is becoming more and more of a crapshoot unless you enjoy getting blackout drunk with people who aren’t interesting until at least 4 beers.

…to be fair, so far Allison has no real reason to believe it’ll cut his invincible skin and it’s the author who said Jag is turbo-invincible, and also so far all of Allison’s endeavours have been “tasked failed successfully” at best and “everything’s on fire, I shouldn’t even be alive right now” at worst.

Which is supposedly part of the comic’s central aesop about clinging to power and refusing to change being a poison but…it’s a really slow burn

Why add the separate deathstrike launcher when that missile can be put on a Titan? Remove that one use only vehicle as it not worth that much CP at all. It should be cost as much as a Dominus pattern or an Acastus pattern Knight at most. Not even the vortex payload worth that much, not to mention the more conventional warheads on that missile (they are weaker than a standard ICBM).

For 400 CP you should add (if not already present) the Leviathan (the more dakka version of the capitol imperialis) and maybe the space marine super-heavy tanks like the Astraeus, Falchion, Fellblade, Glaive.

If you want to be a Dragon in setting and for it to make sense you'd better start as a local. Though you could probablyuse a shooting star wish in setting to change your race to dragon, since racechanging items aren't all that rare in Yggdrasil
>>
>>92744128
I never understand why people insist on autistically following the YGGDRASIL system in the Overlord jump, like knowing what we know now about everything doesn’t it make sense to be an almighty New Worlder with the equivalent of level 100? I mean it was Dragon Lords that even CREATED the entire YGGDRASIL summoning system

Well I do know, it’s because of the autistic joy of minmaxing a shitty system and having chuuni [classes] and [racial abilities], but it still makes no sense for in-universe minmaxing perspective
>>

>You can turn into a dragon

This sounds like being a dragon with extra steps.

Huh? I did suggest Anon to be a local.

I am just saying it wouldn't make sense for someone with the player origin to choose the race unless you wank something about a hacked account or an admin trolling on the last day or something along those lines.

Though if you aren't the 42th supreme being you can easily justify anything by wanking yourself to be a godkin(a descendent of players and locals) since they can have stuff from both systems.

>except for Tyranids, which she HATES HATES HATES HATES
>prefers the solo missions because she gets to kill more things that way
>has a statistically unsettling tendency for planets to "randomly" explode when she arrives there
>never appears in canon because the other Primarchs send her on long ass missions deep into enemy territory
>ostensibly to "utilize her talents" but really just to prevent her from blowing up Terra or something
>Imperium forces become more frightened than the enemy does whenever she shows up to battle
>only the Sisters of Battle seem happy whenever she shows up and always just a little too much

Oh I didn’t mean you specifically, it’s just the trend I’ve noticed for builds for the jump in general. Everyone keeps doing the YGGDRASIL LARP shit even after we finally learned PDL is the one behind the fuckup for his own world. For whatever reason hardly anyone thinks about just being a godlike New Worlder.

It’s like being offered a choice between godhood and godhood but you have to fluff it around the aesthetics of Sonichu, and for some reason nearly everyone beelines towards Sonichu.

Fate Legend France has this perk based on Dumas
>Sublimation- 600
>Originality and uniqueness may certainly be the king of the high class art world but that’s only when people can tell it’s there. If not, a revision works just as well. Sublimation is the name of this capability you now have, which allows you to reproduce objects you have a chance to study and ‘revise’ them in the process, like stealing and rewriting a play. You’ll need the desired item as a catalyst but this will let you slowly make copies of it, quality depending on the time and resources you invest into each one. A few hours is usually all it takes but already powerful items can take expensive, rare or dangerous to acquire materials to remake.
>
>More uniquely, your revision ability allows you to alter these catalysts. Again, basing the extent of the effect on time and resources, but you can certainly make a magical sword several times as powerful or add numerous new abilities to it, altering it’s history or composition so that it always had those qualities. Perhaps a cart of raw materials from the local town square is all it’d take to take an ordinary iron blade and make it sharp enough to cut metal and alight in flame on command. But improving an already legendary blade like Durandal even moderately could take fortune’s worth of materials that would already be difficult to attain, even for a king. There is not technically a limit on how far an object may be revised, though the cost of doing so will continue to grow greatly. Of course, selling your reproductions and revisions would certainly help build the fortune needed for something big.
You think the aspect about "altering the catalyst" is talking about the original or the copies you make? Canonically Dumas seems to alter existing items into noble phantasms, but the way the perk reads suggests the latter for me.
>>
>>92744347
The Key would Mog most things in exalted. >>92744420 shaping is exclusive to exalted, you would Go right through the usual reality warping protections, even If you want them to keep working for some reason you would Just have to use It around your target rather than directly on them. Commentary: Always nice to (re-)discover old favorites. ‘Saw It In a Movie Once’ and ‘Practice Makes Perfect’ are a pretty nice learning combo. The actual plot is decent easy to solve, so the rest of the decade is more about exploring the rest of Evermore. Given that it's based on the participant's desires comparing it to the real time period might yield some interesting information how the machine interprets data.

It depends on how you define "enough". I personally do not think so. The majority of their writing is more about how their powers work and supposition about what they actually are (or rather, aren't) as well as the psychological horror of their interactions with humanity (or rather, what kind of humans are big enough sickos to become demons) than solid answers about how they fit in with the rest of nWoD's setting. It's even left ambiguous if more "powerful" demons are truly more powerful or just more able to exercise influence in the real world. Well, to an extent. There IS a ranking system that lists the Maeljin as god-tier and makes the Devil Ain Soph-tier because this is a role-playing game and everything has gotta go into a table. And like, that's kind of the point? Inferno demons aren kind of designed to be the bogeymen amongst bogeyman.

...
...on the other hand, we have a You Are A Pirate jump and there is definitely more written about Inferno demons than You Are A Pirate.

"Technically" the Exalted setting of Creation is infinite in size its just that it become more and more inhospitable and empty the further you go in any one particular direction along with a greater increase in the number of Wyld zones. The setting used to have a lot more stuff in it diminishing with every era so far but if you wanna go with Primordial War stuff than the Primordials are technically fully capable of just going somewhere else and creating another Creation its just a lot of work for little point when they already have one. We don't really know how big Creation was during the Primordial War all that I can confidently say is Age of Sorrows Creation which has been massively reduced in size twice over is still bigger than Earth. (in terms of meaningful space with stuff in it)

Cue religious schism between the Latter-Day Gohanists (who hold that Gohan was some sort of martyr meant to redeem humanity by taking on all of it's "jobbings" and other failings", and the Neo-Presbyterate Anti-Gohanists (who hold that Gohan is a state of mind the ancient religion aspired to elevate humanity away from) which was of course orchestrated by the Gohannati (a heretical conspiracy that believes Gohan is some kind of dark god that can be summoned to earth by meme magic)

Jumpers with Corporations. How specialized should individual companies be in your opinion. Do you want AAA megacorps that cover every field imaginable or a series of more specialized AA corporations that occasionally work together.
>>
>>92745118
Depends on the jump a bit. Obviously in Cyberpunk it fits that you can buy a giant megacorp.
While Career Model offers a business focused on that aka a fashion label.
As said depends on the source. But in a chain you will eventually pick up enough firms that it effectively becomes a giant corp with many branches in all sorts of fields.

Tales of the Jedi or Kotor. Both have large number of force users opposed to each other.
>>
>>92744079
Same, because of him I can't help but associate losers with people who talks about her or a Sonic character.
>>
Honestly Im considering going to a bunch of jumps like tales of jedi and then rolling over to darth plageus jump and starting there on a scheme of galactic conquest/ war by backing the seperatists. Me and my padawans who by all rights are at least at jedi master level by that point should be able to become rallying points later on and I think I can get dooku on my side by the time Im ready to go public. Surr this will give palpatine a valid enemy he could rally against but at the same time it also gives him an enemy he doesnt secretly have control over.

By making sure the jedi know that I am not choosing them as enemies and if they remain neutral I will not seek them out a lot of them will seek to avoid combat, though if I get enough public voices on my side I should be able to sway a number of the young more hotblooded ones to my side and if framed as a war against a tyrannical and corrupt republic I think I could even get a number of citizens in the republic proper to defect to my side. Not to mention I could propose a third side against the jedi and sith orders as a group of force users who dont rip children away from their families and brainwash them into either murder beasts or emotionless automata by proposing full healthcare, proper housing, and scholorship opportunities for anyone who has a force sensitive joining my order in their immediate families.

Is there anything else you guys thing I should consider before my jumper heads into their war on the republic arc? I have plenty of ships and the ability to out produce most galactic forces through my own megastructure shipyards.
>>
>>92745043
Where can one get boobs that can apply debuffs to others through sheer size?

>>92745295
>Me and my padawans who by all rights are at least at jedi master level by that point should be able to become rallying points later on and I think I can get dooku on my side by the time Im ready to go public.
So I will say this. Jedi Master level is very broad. Especially when Jedi Masters can be weaker then Knights on the basis of focusing more on healing or understanding then combat. In comparison people like Dooku, Mace Windu, and Satele Shan are far above the norm. The Jedi order of the Clone Wars saga has a solid three Masters who would be Grand Masters in most other eras.
>>
>>92745295
Yes, that if manipulation fails to organise the Separatists according to his grand design Sideous will just come over and kill you himself. He did that to Maul('s brother) the moment he became a Force-wielding threat after all.

At that point, either you're totally fucked if being Jedi Master-level is your only gimmick, or you just use your OOC Jumper powers to drop a steamroller or something on him and save the entire galaxy.
>>
Any mad scientist waifus that have no moral quams or guilt doing fucked up experiments to their own kids? Medusa from Soul eater comes to mind and she barely counts since she does have /some/ guilt over experimenting on Corona as seen when she got hit with the bear mirror's attack
>>
>>92745295
>>92745344
Also while Tales of the Jedi has a lot of lightsaber battles its also an era where most Jedi and Sith were sorcerers and people who fought sorcerers the double bladed lightsaber had only been recently reintroduced to the ecosystem. In terms of pure sword fightan skill the force users in Tales of the Jedi are overall less skilled then later areas at fighting other sword fighters. On average anyways
>>
>>92745344
Thats fair, my kids have about 20 years of training and are outfitted with my jumpers armor so that will definately help them and they come from kotor so they have already been through one war. Reminder that turning your lightsaber off and on again is a canonical fighting style that neither side uses for completely dumb reasons.
>>
>>92745390
Yeah it is, but I always figured it was because you have two or more precognitive people fighting and theres a chance they may see it coming
>>
>>92745390
The funny thing is that even though neithier side uses it. Its also not actually that practical in a fight eithier. Like imagine you get into a lightsaber bind both sides pressing against the other and one turns their lightsaber off. Well the person who did that is going to be chopped in two. If you want to use it as part of a feint I suppose that has some merit but we got precognitives so turning off your lightsaber once again risks you making yourself vulnerable and them following through on the opening.
>>
>>92745375
Then in all seriousness, your first and only real priority should be damning Palpy to die of dysentry and/or summoning the biggest meanest spirit you own-your equivalent of Mahoraga-and sending it to destroy him.

People talk about logistics this, strategy that in Star Wars but the simple truth is that galaxy's history is paved with otherwise clever, resourceful and sometimes even Force-sensitive leader that got outplayed, assassinated or crushed head-on because as well as a either masterful politician or a reasonably cunning person in a galaxy full of gullible idiots depending on how you look at events, Sideous is also the most powerful, determined and merciless Sith of his era.
>>
>>92745390
Its ascended memeshit and completely retarded. If your opponent has common sense each of their offences should be a potential fight ender if not responded to. If you turn your blade off, they should be able to kill you immediately.
>>
>>92745390
Trakata is great if you want to kill the other guy but don't care about being killed in turn.
>>
>>92745415
That would be more efficient yes. But it would also be less fun.
>>
>>92745410
>If you want to use it as part of a feint I suppose that has some merit but we got precognitives so turning off your lightsaber once again risks you making yourself vulnerable and them following through on the opening.
Then again an asthmatic cyborg is able to btfo jedi enough to get a collection of lightsabers so that's not much of a downside.
>>
>>92745431
Grievous canonically by Dookus estimation would get curbstomped if he didn't do ambush tactics. His frame is just durable enough to resist individual force pushes and he is a murder blender with a random number generator plugged into every sword technique the jedi have ever used supplied by Dooku one of the greatest swordsman of the era who specialized in fighting swordsmen. Also Grievous doesn't ever get tired and has superhuman strength and speed.

nta, but not quite, you are well within what people in setting would see at territory of the Godkin(player descendents), even the absolute Elite of Humanity strugle to get above level 30, while people above level 40 are considered extreme outliers, the only exception being the Godkin who's level can reach the 50s to 60s, though we know one character who's level is in the 80s and has godkin parents on both sides.

Obviously that is only for Humanoid and Demihuman races(Demihumans can typically reach higher than humans, but exceptionally higher)
While Undead can evolve to reach higher tiers like Crypt Lords and Night Liches and potentially even more(though the strongest we know can only use 8th tier magic) but each is said to be able to slaughter a nation on their own.

The True Dragon Lords have the highest potential by far, being able to reach up to level 100, their racial level also evolves just by aging, so an Ancient True Dragon Lord will have like 50 levels just for his race, and we even meet one who got 51 levels, since he's also a vampire.

I don't think you realize how mind-numbingly stupid or dedicated to the Republic the Jedi are. Especially Mace. The younger ones might be susceptible like you say, but I'm not sure the temple would let such news spread among them.

>>
>>92745609
Ehh. Would probably let you punch up 10-15 levels but not much more than that. Granted a level 60 winning consistently against a 70-75 or conditionally to a level 80 is massive.
>>
>>92745633
Workable, I’d imagine level 80+ enemies aren’t found under every other rock.
>>
>>92745609
Seems plausible.

We know that the Ring Gazef wears is an ancient artifact created by powerful Wild Magic, and it raises his warrior levels by 5. And is able to out people above their level cap(including level 100(
Considering the similarity of wild magic and world item(like the caloric stone), the caloric stone infused divine items are probably at that level or better, and you got over a dozen of those perfectly suited to your classes.
>>
>>92745633
>>92745655
>>92745663
I should be clear when I say that it lets you punch up 10-15 levels I am assuming that anybody level 70-80 probably has Relic to Legendary tier equipment.

So you should be consistently winning as a level 60 against people like the Elf King or nearly all of Ainz's summons not counting super tier magic. Might be able to fight one of the Children of Shub-Niggurath

Reading exalted lore and i have question. This Desus guy ended up developing a charm that mindrapes everyone around into liking him and seeing no wrong in his actions, even himself. Was that charm something he consciously created, or just something that happens when a solar gets when he reaches an essence threshold and his charisma is high enough?
Also do charms actually exist in setting or is just a game thing? As in do people consciously chose to use peasant mind control tiger style like a dnd spell?

In Exalted 2e they are an actual thing that exist in setting in 3e they are just things that you are able to do with no formal existence unless you are a Sidereal.

As for Charms being consciously created or something at high enough charisma or essence threshold. It seems to vary.

You can train to learn charms specifically by setting a goal for yourself. But for Desus and people like Mirror Flag they seem to come about by specifically wanting a desired outcome. Mirror Flag wanted to endlessly play out roles that she forgot her original identity. And Desus wanted so much that people would see his way of things that he never wanted people to consider that he was wrong.

Basically if you have any amount of restraint you won't mind fuck yourself. Even considering the possibility of mindfucking yourself and considering it a negative means you are unlikely to do it.

My plan there is to exploit meta knowledge and try to talk with Ainz himself, I think I’ve got a better shot at convincing him to support me. That said, I could switch out Foreigner for Embroiled in Politics and be able to afford Favored by Fortune that way.

>Also do charms actually exist in setting or is just a game thing? As in do people consciously chose to use peasant mind control tiger style like a dnd spell?
The answer to the latter also answers the former. IE, bit of yes and bit of no. Charms aren't blackboxed set abilities that Solars unlock, they're just techniques, as in stuff they just learn to do through training or being taught them. Desus' Charm is likely an unintended side effect of just trying to get good at charisma and probably some amount of narcissism. People consciously choose to use charms in the same way a normal person IRL would consciously choose to apply some trick or whatever they've learned.
>>
>>92745784
>Also do charms actually exist in setting or is just a game thing? As in do people consciously chose to use peasant mind control tiger style like a dnd spell?
>SUN AND MOON METHOD
>This Charm is the result of Solar paranoia in the High First Age. When alone with one another, certain Solars referred to it by an alternate title, “Lunar-Taming Leash.”
Given that Charms are referred to by names, it’s safe to say they’re an in setting thing.

>People consciously choose to use charms in the same way a normal person IRL would consciously choose to apply some trick or whatever they've learned.
NTA but usually this is the case not always. An Exalt doesn't tend to need to consciously use Ox-Body Technique they develop it and then they have it. Constant/Passive Charms do exist. But for most of the social and even awareness charms it tends to be consciously activated.

you'd probably have an easier time as a Warrior than a Mage, since your abilities are a lot more linked to your stats than they are for a mage. As in even with the bonuses you get from your level, talent and even equipment, your still limited to sixth tier magic(though from two system), and while you probably could get some higher ones from your equipment and by overcasting spells, it's not really on the same level as the 10th tier spell of the Elf King for example. But you could easily wank that your equipment can use some high level spells several times a day, like how Ainz's staff can do a bunch of stuff including summoning 5 primal elementals once a day, which would easily stomp the Elf King who basicallly has a specialized build to only summon one primal elemental(which typically cant be summoned through magic). I do feel like picking summoning specalty over healing magic would be the best bet for this, so you can justify summoning effects in your equipment, while also allowing you to boost the summons with the talent.

The odds aren't that bad. Evileye is roughly Realm of Heroes and she performed very well against the Demon God of Insects. Implied to be a level 90 to 100. She wasn't alone but with a full set of divine tier equipment enhanced with the Caloric stone its very possible to defeat the Elf King.
>>
>>92746028
nta, but their stats should be actually better than the Elf king since the level difference isn't that high(early 60s vs late 60s) and anon has the magical powerhouse talent.

Equipment only matters in a fight where the level discrepancy is less than 10 (10 level is unwinnable according to the author unless very specific circumstances align like Climb vs the illussions guy). This excludes the power armor that have their own (poor) stats.
>>92746045
The Evil Gods are not implied to be in the 90+ range. They are 30 to 50 (like Evileye).
Anon can be around level 40+ with the very top of Realm of Heroes (which is closer to Outlier in description rather than Realm of Heroes which is +30).
Keep in mind that all of the Black Scripture (minus Zesshi) is fodder to people like the Elf King or Shalltear even without their equipment. And that even with Divine Equipment, they can only be expected to win on 1vs1 against Death Knights.
>>92746050
As anon said, the elf king is on the 80s level (he has the HP bar of a level 70, but a mana bar for a level 100 cleric). He is also a druid, so he has really high stats.
The discrepancy is too much for what it is considered winneable.

>>
>>92746129
>Equipment only matters in a fight where the level discrepancy is less than 10
To be fair we are talking Caloric Stone world item boosted equipment. I doubt Author statements regarding the level discrepancy applies to equipment that would require 10+ uses of a world item that as far as we know has only ever been used and existed once.

>The Evil Gods are not implied to be in the 90+ range. They are 30 to 50 (like Evileye).
Platinum Dragon Lord fought with Evileye to defeat them. Even if this was a younger Platinum Dragon Lord without as many levels he likely wasn't as weak as level 50.
>As anon said, the elf king is on the 80s level (he has the HP bar of a level 70, but a mana bar for a level 100 cleric)
Explicitly not a level 80 character. The range Ainz gives is below 80 but above 70
>>
>>92746129
>Anon can be around level 40+ with the very top of Realm of Heroes
nta, but the Realm of Heroes perk actually puts you on the same level as Naberal(who's levle 61), which doesen't really make sense in setting, but its what the jump gives you.
>As anon said, the elf king is on the 80s level (he has the HP bar of a level 70, but a mana bar for a level 100 cleric
actually I just checked an Ainz estimates both his mana and health to be below level 80
>Ainz showed his open palm to the twins, making a pose to tell them not to move.
>From his estimates of Decem’s HP and MP, he seemed to be above level 70 but below level 80.
But either way, magical powerhouse would put you way above level 100 in terms of mana bar, since mana scales linearly, and magical powerhouse triples it.
>>
>>92746150
nta, but the Dragons were slaughtered by the Eight Greed Kings, who were a group of level 100 players that tried to conquer the entire new world, before they succumbed to infighting.
>>

Also it should be noted that Shalltears mana is not her strong suit as an explicitly hybrid warrior-caster.
>>92746178
>But either way, magical powerhouse would put you way above level 100 in terms of mana bar, since mana scales linearly, and magical powerhouse triples it.
I think as far as the Jump goes this is not a completely accurate statement in terms of how much mana it gives you. You probably should not assume that a 200cp talent you can get for free gives more mana than The Abyss of Magic.
>>
>>92746178
>>92746206
A more accurate statement for Magical Powerhouse and a more reasonable reading is you have more mana and you make this mana count enough that it seems you are equal to three of your peers combined. Rather than actually being three times more powerful. You don't need to be three times more powerful physically than a soldier to beat up three soldiers

He's not, the dragon emperor is the one responsible for summoning Players to the new world and he's the dad of the platinum dragon lord, also iirc implied that he was trying to summon world items for his hoard and didn't stop to consider that maybe those items might have owners and that's why all the players showed up.

>>92745728
Regardless of whether or not you're able to kill the elf king (definitely not imo), there is a 0% chance you're winning either of the scenarios. You aren't making a kingdom equal to Nazarick's as a sub-level 100 scrub, and you also aren't becoming a hero out of myth and legend. Also remember that with Powerless you lose out of jump memories. If you're playing as a good guy (which you probably are if you wanna kill the elf king), then there's a good chance you will oppose Nazarick and get raped.
>>
>>92746150
Are you mixing the Eight Greed Kings (a previous batch of players) with the evil gods that could be beaten with Dominion of Authority?
>>92746178
>Narberal
RoH puts you on casting 6th tier like Fluder, while Narberal can cast 8th tier. It's 7 levels per tier, so the top level would be 42.
Also, on Decem at some point he estimates his MP to be larger.
Mana pool wouldn't do much.
>>
>>92746249

No he isn't, he's iirc either 68th or 69th. His thing is that he can summon a primal earth elemental which is in the 80's thanks to a specific class combination he has.
>>
>>92746166
They are taking the full Caloric stone, in the jump version it is just an ingridient boost. In the game was an item that you could use to request high stat items froms the devs.
>PDL
He fought with his armor (around level 80), not his full body (level 95 with dragon broken stats that would put him around level 100). Also, they didn't destroy any big country that had level 80+ entities like the Slane Theocracy.
>>
>>92746240
That would make sense if they were real character and real items and not from a videogame, I assume the author never addresses this and just handwaved the explanation.

>He fought with his armor (around level 80)
Thats still a non-trivial amount of force and more then the Elf King who considered Evileye to be very effective.
>They are taking the full Caloric stone, in the jump version it is just an ingridient boost.
They have the full caloric stone and divine equipment boosted by caloric stone (600 cp discounted to 300 cp rather than 400cp discounted to 200 cp for normal divine tier equipment.)
>>
>>92746129
>Equipment only matters in a fight where the level discrepancy is less than 10 (10 level is unwinnable according to the author unless very specific circumstances align like Climb vs the illussions guy). This excludes the power armor that have their own (poor) stats.
tbf, the equipment here isn't exactly normal stuff. We're talking about items that hover between divine and world items, the only items in canon we know that are on that level are the Staff of Ainz Ooal Gown and the Wild Magic Ring Gazer worre. The former of which can let you kill people around level 100 by summoning 5 primal elementals and shooting powerufl offensive spells at them, while the latter outright increases your level and can even put you above level 100.
>>92746249
>which you probably are if you wanna kill the elf king
nta, but you dont need to be a good guy for wanting to kill the elf king, you only need to be a powerful elf with rational self interest, especially since the elf king is leading the kingdom to ruins, being uncaring as his subjects are slaughtered, raped(sometimes by him) and enslaved and even sends his own children(which are probably your siblings) uncaringly to their deaths.

>On ‘Realm of Heroes’, “Heteromorphic Races’, and ‘Level One Hundred’. If you’ve got Realm of Heroes you’re in the top tier of what this world is capable of producing, as far as natural talent goes. You’re at the tippity-top, roughly comparable (if you were a magic caster) to Narberal Gamma of the Pleiades Battle Maids from Nazarick (61st level). >>92746335
>ou’re at the tippity-top, roughly comparable (if you were a magic caster)
I guess that's just Brellin not knowing the source material, because he caps at 6th tier explicitly in the actual descriptions and Narberal is 8th tier. He probably just forgot what tier Narberal could cast, since sixth tier is what Fluder has (who is also above Realm of Heroes, 6th tier is already Outlier, but whatever, that term wasn't a thing when he wrote the jump).

>The Realm of Heroes
>If you are a Magic Caster you are capable of spells up to the sixth tier, believed to be the highest tier of magic that a mortal could possibly ever achieve.
>Arcane Caster
>If you are in the Realm of Heroes you know and are capable of casting spells of up to the 6th
tier.

Also, the other descriptions of Realm of Heroes are based on Gazef, who 'has a step on the realm of heroes' and it's compared to a military unit of a thousand men.
>of. If you are a Warrior you could potentially cut down an army of a thousand regular men all by yourself,

I don't really want to archive dive, so I will go with him just forgetting what tier Narberal could cast.

In general putting aside the inconsistencies. I think the main thing Brellin wanted to convey was being level 60. Or in otherwords, you start with the bare minimum to actually do damage to Ainz he can't just no-sell you with High-Tier Physical Immunity or High-Tier Magical Immunity.

Granted he could no-sell you in other ways but a duel between Ainz and Realm of Heroes Jumper would at least be as Ainz calls it the bare minimum for a duel

I guess that's just him not having thing cleared up in his mind, because the 6th tier comes multiple times, while the warrior thing is mostly based on Gazef's feats.

So looked through old Brellin posts. Can confirm level 60 was the intended benchmark for Realm of Heroes https://archive.4plebs.org/tg/thread/48385709/#q48392496

They also mention that if they could do it all over again they would streamline the jump a lot more and make the leveling system more granular as a perk with a scaling cost (I think they mean something like 30-40 for 200 cp, 60-80 for 400 cp, 100 for 600cp) https://archive.4plebs.org/tg/thread/90512006/#q90518878

Meetra Surik is actually more for Force Enlightenment but yeah Force Bonds too. Satele inherits battle meditation and has vastly better fundamentals than Bastilla being capable of high level invocations of Tutaminis one of her secondary skills as a Knight. As a Master her foresight is fantastic has battle meditation better than Bastilla has a history of teaching students and just overall one of the strongest in the force of her era. Looked up some star wars lore today due to some posts in thread and damn the twileks have it rough, they were better under the empire than at any point in their past and even then it wasnt good treatment. The republic literally sold them to the hutts for jabbas help during the war and their only exports were slaves and drugs.

Anyone have ideas for what could be a planetary export for a race that lives on a tiny inhabitable band of a hell world where half is on fire and half is always dark? Other than the drugs

It's more an extradimensional space. The sword is used like a key to unlock the armor, then it forms over the user.

Daddy's regen actually got even better in RE8; Dimitrescue sliced off his right hand and he literally just poured some healing juice on the stump then put the hand back on. A few seconds later it was working again, not even a scar. That said, Rose's is explicitly even better-she was literally separated into a head, torso, arms and legs as an infant and put back together just fine. Not sure how much of that she retains into teenager-hood, but at the very least as long as all the parts are there she can pull herself back together eventually, even if she's decapitated.

>Conceptual Fertilization- 200
>The secret art of Conceptual Fertilization is one that may seem a bit strange and even unnatural to those not as invested as you in the mystic arts but…well, they don’t complain so much when you show them the results.
>Conceptual Fertilization refers to a very rare magical ability that allows one to combine two things during the creation process of one of those things, transferring the qualities of the second thing onto the first. Combining the blood of a dragon with a infant in the womb to grant them the magical power of that dragon as they grow up, for instance. With time and further mastery, it may even be possible to combine more than one thing in this way, though one cannot begin to think of the sacrifices the failed attempts might cause. Additionally, you find that you are also able to perform this process on other things in their creation process, not just living beings, allowing you to infuse weapons or other objects in the process of being created with the traits of other things.

THAUMATURGY needs rituals, implements, materials, etcetera. Sorcery is way better, and often just requires essence and occasionally an incantation. But Sorcery also requires that you be initiated into it and has some permanent cost to it as well as much greater overhead Essence costs and a requirement for certain degrees of enlightenment/understanding of what you're doing, whereas Thaumaturgy can be used by anyone, doesn't require initiation, and just needs you to follow the proper rituals to achieve a given outcome.
