In the past you have as many as 4 classes to pick from in a given set, with an optional talent or generics included. For Mistveil we have all three as mystical heroes so it's like a less lopsided Uprising. I recall UPR having a very strong limited environment because of so many damage reduction sources and resource squeezing effects on top of very flexible heroes that could swing between two or three extreme archetypes or become a secret fourth option that was a hybrid. Most recently got Heavy Hitters we left a set that has multi class cards that allow you to have more options for deck building in limited as well as pivoting to a different hero and class much more easily.

Unlike 7 drop Han or Dooku she isn't as safe from reprisal damage (only if her on attack damage is enough to kill), but on the other hand her ceiling is higher since she probably hits for 8+ pretty consistently. And she'll only ramp up as the game goes on, 9-10hp ground units are easily in kill range by lategame.

I saw the Uno Amalgam series by Massacre's Mansion, and I want to try to take a crack at my own homebrewed version of Uno. It won't nearly be as complex as pic related, since buying every single version of Uno with unique mechanics would be too much of a hassle for me. Question for /acg/You ever have one of those moments where you spend money buying a deck and then literally a day or two maybe even a week later you find something better that you like way more. Like you thought you did all of the research before you bought but you just somehow missed this hidden gem of a deck and now you're in a complicated situation where you have to spend even more money or if you don't have the extra money you now have to sell/trade what you just bought. I loved early and mid Magic art like everyone else, and when I returned to that trap of a game during War of the Spark, the art was disgusting to me. Sorcery, I LOVE. Nearly every bit of art in the game is evocative and worth staring at.Then I got this piece of shit and I realize exactly what it is. EVERY illustration in this game is PEOPLE. Human PEOPLE, casting spells with GLOWING EYES on BORING BACKGROUNDS. The cards are named after spells, but the subject of every piece of art is some diverse uncool dorky-looking HUMAN. It's the focus on PEOPLE. I don't know if it's a woman thing because all the artists on this stupid game are guys, but MtG sure as shit focuses a HELL of a lot on Planeswalkers and characters on EVERY fucking card these days.What did old art have? Moody landscapes. Scenes. Inhuman entities that aren't named characters but almost tell their own story. Beasts. Compositions and painting styles that convey a history without names to put to any of it. Mysterious worlds that are dark, threatening, but full of discoveries.
