It's the same logical fallacy that is used to say how old the universe is. In reality it's just what we can see and there seems to be no limit to how far into the past we can look. We keep making more powerful telescopes that keep finding more universe so "scientists" keep extending the "age" of the universe. But in reality logic would dictate the universe is infinite in space and time as we've yet to find any sort of boundary besides our technological limitations. As soon as the technology increases so does the age of the universe. Or so they say, these scientists main job is to lie to and gaslight normies to grift more grant money.
