How the fuck will Kendrick ever outdo this diss track? Drake had to raise his son after this.

I don't think he has the killer in him desu. We will see

Pusha's always had his lane. He's always gotten the respect from real niggaz (and whiteboi hipsters). This is something that drake will never have but always wanted

This beef literally doesn’t matter. Drake could beat Kendrick and it wouldn’t affect his legacy as an artist. Kendrick could beat Drake and it wouldn’t affect his legacy as an artist. The only way this beef matter is if someone gets shot/killed (won’t happen)
>>
>>121434586
Kendrick has to win for his legacy. Everyone already knows who drake is and it doesn't matter. if he goes to jail for fucked up shit it won't matter

1 guy out of 100. It probably doesn't matter to you cause your a white boi from the burbs but drake looked up to all these niggas who now don't fuck with him. his reaction to it always showed he cared

Wait, does Drake actually not like Future now? Are Drake and Future also beefing? We still have "What a time to be alive 2" album I NEED THAT!!! FUCK!!
>>
>>121435260
> his reaction to it always showed he cared
this is spot on. and he always knew this day would come - his whole "no new friends spiel" which seemed like he was being 'cool' was really 'one day i'll be found out and they'll turn on me' All the work he put in and the beg-friend nature of his career was to try and delay the inevitable and spread the risk.
That day is now here.
In fairness, no one can take him out - if Pusha T's efforts failled to stop him, there's not much left to hit him with. And ultimately he hasnt backed down from the battle - let alone apologised - so who knows, the irony might be that a jewish child actor turns out to be the realest after all.

fuck.

>On March 21, 2022, Pusha T recorded a freestyle for a commercial presented by fast food chain Arby's, naming it "Spicy Fish Diss", aimed at rival fast food chain McDonald's. On the track, he states that their Filet-O-Fish sandwich was "disgusting", and states that Arby's Fish Sandwich is better.[115] This was revenge toward the company for not crediting him for helping popularize the "I'm lovin' it" advertising campaign.
>>
>>121430808
It'll always be a stain in his personal life. Pusha not only revealed that Drake has a son, he completely took away the ability for Drake to control the narrative Tying it together with his own dad being a deadpead and the mother being a porn star only adds salt to the wound. Every time he sees his kid he'll be reminded of that. I wouldn't be surprised if his son starts asking some uncomfortable questions some day.

The saddest part of this beef is that labels had to manufacturer it due to dissipating interest in rap, and somehow it still hasn't attracted the amount of interest that might have been expected.

Rap is dead.

Nobody will outdo that one.
Drake stans still try erase it from their memories.
Years later Drake on Lebron's show crying Pusha took it too far.
When it dropped he disabled all his comments and released this statement. A rapper, releasing a statement. This was a crazy time so kino.

Tick Tick Tick

You guys weren't outside for the real times. Who remembers Nas seething like crazy when they banned him from lynching a real life made effigy of Jay Z on the summerjam stage.

On the dead homies I wanna see Kendrick run up in a Toronto radio station take it over and make them play his diss and talk his shit until OVO goons turn up on some real early 2000s shit. Back then when they played the diss the nigga you was dissing would call up the radio seething talking about he's coming down to the station right there and then to settle this shit ah shit bring them days back. Fuck all this internet shit run up on Breakfast Club and play that shit. Take it to Flex. Big Boy's LA go right there and do it. Make these zoomers tune into a radio station and stand on business.

Future probably still felt a certain way about Drake not showing up to the Tony Montana video and Drake picking 21 Savage to make an album over him was the last straw. Future hasn't gotten over Ciara in 10 years too.
>>
>>121428866
This was the only feud Drake lost and it was just because Pusha went full scumbag
>>
>>121444456
I think what happened is Drake slept with one of Future's girls (who's basically a prostitute) and the girl told Drake that Future saying was shit about Drake that he think he's corny and shit and it got back to him. the last verse of More M's which is is actually a Metro beat appears to be is about Future (no one realized this until recently).

People on Twitter / Budden have been speculating that Drake's got some kind of racket going on with the labels which is also why they're all mad

I don't see Kendrick getting in the mud with Drake, he's never went after a rapper by revealing shit about their personal life to the public. It's literally always just been braggadocio, but Drake goes immediately with name dropping his wife. Dudes a cornball who never got over being bullied as a kid.
>>
>>121448442
Considering Kendrick has been sitting on a Drake diss for 4 years and still hasn’t released anything in retaliation. I think we won’t be getting anything and it’s gonna go back to just jabs
>>

>Pusha
>irrelevant now

>>
>>121446163

>>
>>121428866
The reason that beef started in the first place was because Push called out Drake for using ghostwriters. Something most people forgot about because Meek Mill's molested ass couldn't mount a proper response to Back to Back. Kendrick could easily go all-in on that if he isn't just going to call Drake a pedophile.
>>
>>121450724
Nobody cares that Drake uses ghostwriters, literally everyone at his level uses them. He is no longer a rapper trying to prove himself but one of the biggest popstars in the world. Hes not gonna write every verse himself
>>
>>121450793
>literally everyone at his level uses them

This isn't true. Jay Z, Lil Wayne, Future don't (rappers who don't write but do it frensh in the booth) It's very hard to believe Kendrick does.

The thing with Drake's ghostwriting is that, as in the case of Quentin Miller, he's taking advantage and barely compensating them. But everyone knows that he's not a good person and of course at this point after Sophi Brussaux this doesn't matter for his persona. Big Sean also took advantage of Quentin but big Seans no longer big enough for people to care
>>
>>121450431
hello white boi from the burbs

>>121439660
correct. he's a niche, he considers himself a purist. I could never imagine being pretentious about coke rap but its a different world

>>121439395
But Drake gives a fuck. Drake said recently that he had really bad stomach pains. He's an alcoholic with bad anxiety. But it's hard to pity him because we all wish we had access to just a fraction of his lifestyle

>>121440016
good shi my nigga

>>121450724
The beef goes back to lil Wayne in the 2000s. Drake got involved cause he was signed to Wayne.
>>
>>121450990
Nah he's compensating Yachty. Yachty signed a good deal credits publishing all that shit. The OVO Sweatshop dudes in a basement at The Embassy workshopping kendrick and metro memes all night.
>>
>>121451225
If they're credited that means they aren't a ghostwriter. Obviously he pays yachts cause that's his brotha
>>
>>121451314
How can you call yourself a rapper then have another rapper writing for you
>>
>>121444231
Renner’d
>>
>>121453218
They view it like singing. How can you call yourself singer when you sing someone else's words? Of course you can.

What Drake does makes a good product. He is a good performer. His versions are always better than the reference tracks. Quentin can certainly write great raps ("written like Nas but it came from Quentin") but he couldn't make it as a rapper.

If Drake didn't use ghostwriters and stayed as a purist he wouldn't have been as successful
>>
>>121430808
>diss didn't hurt Drake in any way
It publicly shamed Drake into raising his own child, ruined the slimy Adidas marketing campaign he had lined up, and his only response was through the notes app on his phone. All his shit's flopped since then and he's nothing compared to before Pusha ethered him. That's not even getting into how he'll inevitably have to explain all this to his kid someday.
>>
>>121454814
Forgot to mention: IIRC, Drake even kept getting the track pulled off YouTube for a while. He never would have bothered if it wasn't a big deal. Push wasn't doing that for weak-ass Duppy Freestyle.
>>
What do you mean? Drake utterly mogged that pipsqueak
>>
Where's Kendricks reply?
>>
>>121437366
Dubs of truth. Pusha t only comes up when drake is involved
>>
>>121454732
Theres a big difference between rapping and singing, Yes you need to have good flow as a rapper but the words you are speaking are just as important. Singers can get by with just being melodic but rappers need to have some sort of wit in their lyrics. Otherwise they completely fall off like Lil Pump
>>
>>121430808

Kendrick and Drake are the two least-likely-to-be-involved-in-a-shooting rappers ever.
(and good for them, honestly)
>>
drake's sales and streaming numbers are more than 3x kendrick's, so there's really no competition between them that matters
>>
here's something i don't get
do rappers feel cucked paying for their 100 baby mommas or do they feel like chads spreading their seed far and wide?
>>
>>121430808
Grindin alone mogs Drake's entire body of work
>>
I will never understand why people like Drake. I understand he makes music that sounds somewhat cool if you're listening to it while playing Warzone or something (Post Malone would be better desu) but outside of he has nothing. He makes music that a shitty little teen arab would find lit and insightful.

>corny as shit
>zesty as fuck
>narcissistic as anything
>raps about four topics
>most of his work is completely mid
>makes hip hop for the slimest ghetto club sluts
>grown man rapping about mind games, emotional games, how hard it is to stop playing a man (just be a man faggot)

There's pretty much zero artistry to him whatsoever. Whenever I think about a Drake fan I think about an emaciated British paki.
