>>41071818Thank you anon. I'm very proud of her. She's 46 inches hoof tip to hoof tip, about 22 inches tall right now. She came with more stuffing that made her sit taller, but I took some out to give flexibility to her neck so she could snuggle more. It took me right around 1 year to get her, but I had almost ever extra imaginable on my order so it took him longer than average.desu I read the same things when I got her back in 2019. Back then there were even more bad reviews than there are now, because his quality has arguably improved after some scathing commentary. I took the leap anyways for one reason only, I really liked the way her face looked and thought it was absolutley beautiful and adorable. I will explain experience with her in detail. Keep in mind I take very good care of her, but I have moved with her 4 times and she had to be packed up in a suitcase each time so she still has a fair bit of mileage. - The biggest complaint I have is that the very edge of her eyes have embroidery glue on them to keep the seams from fraying. A smidge of this glue got on the white portion of her right eye and adhered to some dirt and created a permanent smudge. Over four years later, the glue on the edges have slightly yellowed as well, probably from UV exposure which I try to avoid. The glue has pros and cons, as someone who does embroidery as well I can say that if a thread does tear at some point, it could cause a nasty unravel over time which would be worse than a little glue stain imo. I don't know why they didn't put glue on the backside of the ebroidery, but it is what it is. - I've had a total of four stitch unravels. 1) Where her dock is stiched to her faux fur tail. 2) Where her teats meet her crotch V. 3) A half inch area long her back seam. 4) Where her foreleg attaches to her body. Of all of them, the one along her back was the only concerning one because it's such a high pressure area. I was able to fix it pretty easily with a ladder stitch and you can't even tell there was a suture. Her teats and tail are just an awkward angle to stich but they were also pretty simple to repair. Her foreleg is just a tradeoff of using a separate leg to body design. Something like AGZ's design wouldn't have that issue.- Her hooves don't look good compared to what was advertized, but they look better than the rounded hoof end imo. I was upset about it when I got her. That's really it. The areas I expected to be problematic like her head to neck seam and her crotch seam are still as solid as the day I got her. The faux fur mane and tail might not be for everyone because it doesn't take much friction to muss it up, but I love it. It always brushes out smooth and beautiful and lit makes for a comfy way to pass time.
>>41074315Oh one more thing. I ordered the magnetic wing extra addon so I could attach folded and spread wings. The magnets were shitty little round magnets that were glued on to the inside of the body. They fell off after a few months so I bought some neodymium bar magnets from Amazon and made a little magnet pouch out of minky fabric and sutured it to the inside of her body myself. I put the same bar magnets inside her wings and now her wings are very sturdy. Another massive quality of life improvement was to get a "puppy heartbeat toy." It costs about 20 bucks and makes a little hearbeat ba-dump for 8 hours at a time. Zip her open, put it inside, zip her back up and you'll have the best sleep of your life just feeling that heartbeat against your chest. As for the care portion, I'm very careful not to get skin oils on her fur. She stays inside her Wonderbolts outfit all the time unless its time for a cleaning. And if she's getting smooched or nuzzled she has a sheet between her face and mine. I get that it sounds like a ton of work, and that might be a turn off for some people. My philosophy with it is that I'm going to buy one life size plush and take care of her. She's not just an accessory in my life that will be used until she falls apart then thrown away. Just like you'd have to take care of a dog or an aquarium, you have to take care of your plush and pull maintenance on her. It helps you learn new skills and you end up investing in some brushes and cleaning tools as well. I don't pull on her legs or squish her face into my chest like a teddy bear, I handle her like I imagine she'd want to be handled. I brush her mane sparingly and gently so I don't tear out all her faux fur. And I wash her wonderbolts smock every few months to keep the body oils from soaking through into her minky fur. I'm sure there are some makers out there who make extremely robust plushes that never fray or anything, but to only have 5 repairs needed after nearly as many years is pretty good in my book, and she stays in my bed every night. I get that 1k is a lot on a plush and people want what they pay for, but even if she'd started completely falling apart like I've seen with that one ERC fluttershy, I'd still think it was worth it just for the facial detail and look of her expression which I love going to sleep and waking up to every day. And like I said, its not difficult to stich things up such that you never notice the tear to begin with.
