If we're sticking with the Z-Master example you can keep her reappearance there similar to how Leo and Gai's Mom spirits show up via ZA POWA, but keep it just as a spirit. It far better fits her vibe since Tsubasa always imagined her Kanade tulpa during the first two seasons, and showing up out of nowhere to "show her how its done" really doesn't fit her character at all.
