You’re late. AI generated stories and art already swamp self publishing. They aren’t one man operations either and have 20 chinese or indians in a basement making 20 of them a day.
If production costs are nothing you need only a couple of sales to make it work. It’s even happening in audiobooks. Downloaded something from “Charles River Editors” (free mind you) and realized the repetitive nonfiction narrative was going nowhere. Voice they used was pretty good too. Enough to fool you at a casual glance.
