old.sage.moe/book/thread/1The first thread on the /book/ textboard discusses Haruki Murakami. How do you think 4chan's taste in books has changed over the past two decades? No zoomer newfags allowed!Ancient Greek literature: old.sage.moe/book/thread/17583

Whatever happened to 4chan textboards? I remember there were links to them on some boards, but I don't see any now
>>23321476Yes, I start new threads instead of derailing good ones. I suppose they taught you as much etiquette as they did capitalization and punctuation in zoomer school.

The textboards were never popular enough to get a feel for site culture. What I've seen since /lit/ formalized is that there was a genuine interest in heavy literature and grad-level discussion of it that has declined to the point that it's hard to even talk about memeshit. It's also obvious no one has a computer and anon doesn't make memes more, but some of that was a response to how it trickles down into shitholes like after I'm done banging your mom.
