Yes, I start new threads instead of derailing good ones. I suppose they taught you as much etiquette as they did capitalization and punctuation in zoomer school.

The textboards were never popular enough to get a feel for site culture. What I've seen since /lit/ formalized is that there was a genuine interest in heavy literature and grad-level discussion of it that has declined to the point that it's hard to even talk about memeshit. It's also obvious no one has a computer and anon doesn't make memes more, but some of that was a response to how it trickles down into shitholes like after I'm done banging your mom.
