Does anyone else minimally familiar with Perelandra and William's Blake Marriage of Heaven and Hell get the impression that Weston's character was based on Blake? With all the stuff about hell as dynamism and heaven as stability and whatnot. Or is that the wrong impression?

I'm only now reading Blake but I can already see where your coming from. Did Lewis ever comment on Blake? I don't think I've read a author so clearly influenced by Christianity, yet not a part of it.

Have to read Perelandra sometime soon. I enjoyed Out of the Silent Planet a lot more than I thought I would
