I know about the whole "aspiration" thing in Ancient Greek, but how do we know if a word is aspirated or not?
>>16548550because there is a marking that goes over vowels that tells you they are aspirated.
If you know about the whole "aspiration" thing then you should know when it's aspirated.
The use of the letter H to render aspiration comes from Latin which English has inherited most of its Greek terminology from.
