Why does Krishna always look feminine?
I thought it's a female character for a while, but it's actually a male warlord.

The demonic blures the lines between male and female.

literally this.
a good image to depict Zeus, although the ancient Greeks also had twink gods, but they never occupied a supreme position in the pantheon.

There are multiple forms of Krishna, but he's always been portrayed as young and beardless, possibly to emphasise youthful vitality. One of his earliest forms is Krishna Vāsudeva, the warrior hero-god of the Vrishni clan. The Krishna of the Mahabharata is probably the same Vāsudeva, he's also the hero king of the Vrishnis. Later there's Krishna Govinda, the protector of cows, and Krishna Gopala who's even more youthful, plays the flute, and consorts with the gopis (milk maids), especially his sweetheart Radha, and Bala Krishna who's portrayed as a toddler.

>no beard, no huge height, impressive muscles
yes measure of a man is by his actions and virtues
actual bodily attributes like width of the neck are completely irrelevant and not the source of his strength
You are not supposed to become krishna by working out

super badass warriors who are part of an actual military elite aristocracy will dress fancy and have long hair and generally spend a lot of time on their appearance

this is the fundamental divide
wars even back then were not won or lost physical strength or you would be living under a gorilla dynasty, they were won and lost on ingenuity and technology
humanism implies that man is complete in itself and that's why it should be celebrated not despite it all, and that's what went wrong, that's where fascination with nogs came in cause you thought that kind of animalistic """vigour""" is something to strive towards and encourage
The othering of animals in general comes out of humanism and this hubris that man has reached it's destination, otherwise it wouldn't have taken this long to accept that dolphins and other animals are fully capable higher order functions that you think are the endpoint of man

Krishna has awakened his kundalini and merge the Shiva (masculine) and Shakti (feminine) together.

Ram also had similar features.
