>>100160530I haven’t owned a single wireless earphone or headphone in my life because of this exact reasonJust another thing to charge
>>100160530mine do a 100% volume beep noise even if I have the volume low. Scares me sometimes
>>100160530>Battery about 20%
>>100160772I have Sony xm5s and I plug them into my 65w usb-c laptop charger, they get really hot and go from 10% to 50% in ten minutes, then they last all day. Shit's crazy, it's like putting them in the microwave. it just works
>>100160530...POWER OFF!
>>100161089>Not setting the audio commands to japanese waifungmi
got the exact headset in ops image, just finished my second work day since full charge. down to 50% after 18 hours on. you turn them off at the end of the day and you good. Imagine not being able to turn your shit off when finished.
For some reason I don't have a USB charging cable on my desk so I leave them dead for about a month at a time before willing them to the cable in my other room. Don't have this problem with airpods
>>100160530Skill issue.
>>100160812that's not...

>>100160530mine's worse>runs out of battery>BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP>bebebeep
>>100160772I was like that too until a couple years ago. It is actually extremely convenient for me. Charge lasts for hours, I just put the earbuds back into the pod when I'm not using them, and plug the pod in overnight every few days.I have pic related which are shit, about time for an upgrade.
>>100161556The Japanese language is the ear grating language of Hell.
Battery swapping will very soon be a thing thanks to EU regulations. You'll just need to carry an extra fully charged battery and problem solved.
>>100160530I have these. Noise cancelling is p good and I use them for about 4 to 5 days per charge. Literally all you need. And the touch controls are nice.
>>100160530>Made me have Tinitus...
>>100160530I got my WH 1000 XM3 back in 2021 and at first I totally forgot that you even need to charge them. I'd go three full days of use (probably around 25-28 hours) before they ran out of juice. I still have them and use them but I have to charge them nearly every day, I bet the total listening time is down to 10 hours or so
>>100164106I've had the XM4 for nearly a year now and I can sometimes go nearly 2 weeks without needing to charge them. I use them for 30-40 minutes at the gym 3 times a week, and 30-60 minutes at home every night before bed usually. Don't let the cucksoomer Redditors who bought the early batches fool you into thinking these have battery problems. Mine have been perfect. Hoping I can get another year out of them.
>>100160530>buys 2 headsetsCheckmate poors
>ambient sound control>off
>>100161197holy based, I had mine set up to jap too. Ended up switching to Bose because they have physical buttons instead of a touchpad. Kinda miss the voice sometimes (and the no ambient sound control mode)
[Fully voiced at full volume every time the wireless disconnects for 1 millionth of a second. BOOP BEE BEEEEP. CHANNEL LOST.
>>100163688I got those for free with my phone and they keep feeling like they were gonna fall out of my ears when walking until I eventually just gave them away
>>100160530I work from home and these were a godsend
>>100160530Literally the i5 2500K of headphones
>>100160812Definitely not good for the battery life but I'm not going to give you shit if it works for you, batteries in these things are really easy to replace. Id probably just plug it into a 5w over night and only use the laptop charger if need be to increase battery lifetime
>>100160530i bought some chink shit for like $40 and the battery lasts forever
>battery low :3 UwU
I have XM3s and the battery life is top tier
>>100160530Can wearing these things too often thin your hair out? Asking for a friend.
>>100160530Genuine question, what is the appeal of all this wireless shit? It's more expensive, degrades faster due to declining battery life, and performs worse than the wired equivalent. Is this just some kind of psypop by laptop/phone manufacturers to lower costs?
>>100160530the battery life on my xm4's is incredible, yours might be faulty
>>100160772>Just another thing to chargeKek this>Get home>Gotta plug in my car or I'll miss work tomorrow>Plug in phone>Plug in tablet>Plug in laptop>Plug in headphones>Wireless mouse has to be charged>Wireless keyboard is out of charge>Wireless TV has to be charged>Wireless toaster is low on battery
>>100160530Loud as fuck
>watched 2 seasons of BCS on my jbl 770nc>goes from 100% to 80%damn so this is the power of 690mah
>>100166195The primary appeal for me is the active noise cancelation and the freedom to get up and take a piss without stopping whatever I happen to be listening too. I don't want to be cable locked to my desk. Same with VR, I choose the Quest over other options because of airlink. If you happen to know of any other VR headset that can connect to a PC without a cable please do share.>inb4 just get iemno, it hurts to shove things into my ear canal
>>100160735There's no wired active noise canceling headphones
>>100160772ya its fuckikg infuriating. I have ops head phones I wish I didn't, they were like 400 bucks. sounds quality is mediocre coz Bluetooth anyway. half the time I use them with a cable but then it makes a buzz, fuck sony headphones never again.got em in 2019 but now have kid so pretty gotta use em till they break.
>>100164349>Hoping I can get another year out of themthis is depressing. my dad has hifi gear eg amp, turntable, tape deck, speakers, tuner, cd player, that are all as old as I am, some older like 60 years old and all still work well.modern plastic technology that becomes unusual after a few years sucks. Can anyone reccomend wired headphones thst will last a lifetime?
>>100167005my jabra headset is wired and noise cancelling, not great for audio but I'm sure it exists. also my Sony's can be plugged in using 3.5 cable and still use active noise cancelling.
mine started doing a high freq squeal out of a single side randomly... not sure if its because i replaced the pads, but it's annoying as hell and noise cancelling related. switching to ambient the squealing stops
>headset>battery
They suck for work cause meetings all day but I like them for listening to music during commute
>>100161556Kek, I thought I was the only one.
>>100167005They exist in the used market. Audio Technica, Bose, Panasonic, Sennheiser, and Sony.
>>100160772I have wireless earphones that I use with my computer, but I have it set up where I never have to think about its charging status. The charging dock is on my desk and always plugged in, and it serves as the home for the earphones. I want to use it, I take it out. I don't use it, I return it to its home. Simple.
>>100163734Found the gook.
>>100160530>battery is low>battery is low>battery slow>butter reeeeeee slow
>>100168058This. Imagine having your head tethered to your PC lmao
>>100164349There was a firmware update a while back that caused permanent damage to the batteries on the wf-1000xm4. If you never update the firmware these work really well. They did replace them for free when it happened to me.
>>100160772And another thing to buy again once the battery starts dying. Airpods in particular expected lifetime 2 years. Can't wait for EU to mandate common battery form standard and user change at the very least. Quest and Xbox controllers are so good compared to Playstation and Switch because they use AA.

>>100167346Headphones and earphones are just going to get dirty and worn over time, especially if you don't clean them every week like normies don't. Longest pair of headphones I had was about 3-4 years, and by the end of its life it was falling apart.
>>100160735How would you poop while listening to music, otherwise?
Do people unironically like those little pods you have to fit into your ears?
>>100170138No. It's just something poor people grow into. It just werks, and they never question it.They'll never realize how miserable it is because they'll never get to experience a real headset of quality.
any noise cancelling headphones that can fully block out the noisy person next to me and their shitty music as well?
>>100170178Try that bad boy. Best noise cancelling tech I have tried so far.I works by emitting one(1!) loud initial soundwave, effectively cancelling the nuisance source forever.
>a deep male voice calmly says the following when your headset reaches 10%, 5% and 2% charge>LOW ENERGY
>>100166644You forgot the watch, of course it's normal to charge your fucking watch every night
>>100169900>Longest pair of headphones I had was about 3-4 years, and by the end of its life it was falling apart.Throughout the years I've tried many headphones from different makers - Sony, JBL, Jabra, Senheiser, Denon but none of them served me for as long as pic related, I shit you not. Creative Fatal1ty headphones, my mom bought them for me back in 2008 and I used them until 2016. They just worked and all the parts held really well until some strange microphone issue appeared that caused a very irritating sound to other people whenever I would talk. Other than the microphone, I bet if I dug around my parents' attic for a bit, I could find them and they would still work and sound alright.
>>100170307I'd wish it was a loli voice instead. Sounding increasingly weaker. As if she was progressively grewing out of breath from being choked.

>>100174787Touching 2 fingers on the right side touchpad of the headset enables/disables speak to chatTook me a whole year to realize that. Yes it's shit but now you know how to turn it off it when you accidentally toggle it.
after switching to wireless headphones i will never go back to wired.the wire gets in the way
What bluetooth earbuds (not headphones) should I buy for $300 or less? I just want something that synchs to Windows to use at the PC and will last me at least a couple years. Bonus if mic quality is good for conversation (can ditch my USB headset then)
I cannot comprehend how cucked you have to be to pick a device that requires constantly recharging.
>>100167005First of all that's not true, second just move away from basketball Americans and you won't need noise cancelling in the first place and finally third buy a gun instead and put a bullet in your head

>>100176715Yeah, that's the problem. I have long hair (rust btw) and if it is even slightly wet and touches the touchpad surfaces on the side the feature turns back on.And there's no way to turn the volume of that voice down, so if I'm listening to some great song and enjoying it, the condescending-sounding woman's voice starts talking while the volume of the song goes down to where it is barely perceptible, like some fucking HR-lady-giving-me-a-notice experience: "Low battery, please recharge headset".If any anon has a rec on a headset that doesn't have the described issues, please share it with me
>>100179175I have the exact same model of headset as you and I also have long hair and that doesn't happen to me. You can just put the headset over your hair.

>>100183311It's okI own the 1000XM5 and the M4 so I can compare them objectively. The XM5s beat the M4s in ANC and user experience, but in sound quality the M4s sound way fucking better. ANC on the M4 isn't bad by any means, it just isn't as good as the XM5sUser experience though, the XM5s are so much nicer. The M4s fucking suck at detecting when you're actually wearing them, they basically don't auto turn off even after a full day, and the slide to increase volume sucks.Overall even with the user experience that can suck at times, I still use the M4s far more often than the XM5 because of the sound alone. ANC is weaker sure but not bad.
