they have some OK laptops as well like the elitebooks

strictly speaking they make good printers as well, they just bog them down with unbeleivable amounts of jewery. but they had an ink tank printer at one point thay was actually surprisingly good and un-kiked

>that fatass bezel

>>100162238
chronologically it makes no sense for a p3 to have a 40gb hard drive. p3 era machines had 5-10gb max and that was considered a luxury. this is exactly a 'never obsolete machine'.
>>
>>100151110
I use a ProBook 635 g8 with a ryzen 5600U. It's fast. light, quiet and has decent battery life. I upgraded the SSD and memory on it, I still have a free slot normally occupied by the LTE modem. It's a nice, cheap machine, a great upgrade over my ever faithful Thinkpad x220.

>discontinues it to prove they build machines with planned obsolescence

>>
>>100151176
Just goes to show HP could have made cool and green repairable laptops, but they chose not to and choose to fuck over consumers instead with hard to repair proprietary machines.

Dev one was literally a tease saying, yeah we could have done what framework is doing, but we choose to fuck you instead.

They have a thing just like that. Called the EliteBook 840/845. In fact the Dev One was a repainted rebranded 845 G8.
>>
>>100163721
>hard to repair
There's nothing hard to repair about modern HP laptops, all the ProBooks and EliteBooks I've worked with had 2 so-dimm slots, sata and/ or m.2 and a couple mini PCIe slots. Battery replacements were quite easy too.

It's so when one goes under another one can move into the same building with minimal changes. Everything in capitalism eventually becomes interchangeable and bland and soulless because style and originality eats into profits.

idk what you retards are on about. Not every minimalist logo is cancer by default, hewlett packard's is one of the very few which is actually cool. It's as if all you fucks care about are the days of old, and being older automatically makes it better.
I never see you cry over how Commodore's logo was flatshit and sovlless.
And see the MOS Technologies logo in picrel? It's exactly the same kind as the hp in logo in the OP pic.
All nostalgiafags should die. You are a disgrace to people like me who actually appreciate older tech for non retarded reasons.
>>
The Reverbs are some of the best VR headsets out ther, speaking price to performance. Atleast they were, im a bit out of the loop.
>>
I have a Pavilion Plus 14
Screen is great, it wasn't expensive, 7840U, but it's pretty garbage outside of Windows and to make matters worse, they got these botnet drivers you have to remove that are a pain in the ass. Otherwise really fast and really easy to "disassemble" to replace the SSD at least.
>>
>>100171264
You're on crack if you think that logo is actually good, it's not the gotcha you think it is. Also who has even heard of that company? The imaginary person you made up in your head to be angry at who hates the modern HP logo but loves the MOS logo is probably nonexistent. Also, the Commodore logo was fine. In short you're a retard and should piss on an electric fence

hp is a fucking cancer
I've never used anything hp that did not have an issue, whether it be garbage hardware, software or both. Stuck with a zbook currently. The chassis is sturdy but that's the only positive thing. The touchpoint plus two button combo stupidity is beyond words. HP can't into staging firmware updates for their top of the line business class and they managed to cook the zbook and an hp brand dock over the short span of two years with mystery firmware their own helpdesk couldn't account for. Ofcourse, not even going to mention the consumer level pavillion trash and overpriced media pcs that shipped with cheap foxconn garbage inside. Meanwhile I have ancient 14 year old shitpads still booting after years of use
>>
>>100162072
excessive minimalism, just excessive, tasteless, and this new logo is just straight up stupid as you and several others point out
