Yes. The show starts with them moving to the city after they lose their farm. Season 3 has them buying it back, staying there for a while, then eventually deciding to live in the city again and visit the farm where the mom/ex-wife lives and works full-time.

I miss this show. Are we still clear on the fact that Gloria was surely "paying rent" to Bill? I mean look at the guy, you know its a matter of absolute thickness. It informs his "quiet cool," and Gloria was the opposite pole for that type. I bet the banter would've cut diamond. I mean, how do you think he pulled a bicycle like Nancy? We're clearly talking pringles half-stack.

Judging by the looks from the proto-Gloria, I'm kinda glad they didn't go for that. Considering she doesn't look too photogenic like the final that we got. Plus that version of Gloria looks more if she's black (more in the same vein as Rashida, Remy's mom), but I bet her personality would've been more robust than the current Gloria as if she's a no-nonsense person that would not loosen a bit to tolerate Cricket and the Greens's usual run in the mill shit.

I'm so glad Gloria was changed from this to essentially the big Sister figure of Cricket and one of the most realistic portrayals of Gen Z/Millennials.

Good pair of episodes. I think I liked the first one better, as I found it to be solid all the way through. I wasn't really digging the second one until Bill went full Crow, which was definitely the highlight of the two.

I wonder at what point in development they changed Gloria to the one we have now and the thought process behind it. I kind of liked the vibes of the uptight and stern vibes of the Gloria in the one in this group shot. She's like a mix of that Gloria Goody and the one we'd eventually end up with.
