Am I the only one who cooks steak ahead of time?I come from the supermarket with 5 steaks and I cook them ony cast iron with a little bit of salt and pepper then when they cool I put them in a plate with foil and inside the fridge then I have one every night for dinner

Five at a time is excessive but a lot of folx do sear and half cook a steak or two for later finishing and consumption. Precooking five steaks is just stupid all thoughbeit.
