I got basmati and jasmine rice and a rice cooker. How much of this spice do I add? The tin doesn't have any English on it.
>>20429732Who TF wants whole-ass nutmegs in their rice?
>>20429767oh fuck I didn't even notice, only cracked the lid off with a knife to take a sniff.
>>20429933Gonna need pics of your spice mix
>>20429959it's the one in OP image, I'm too drunk to go downstairs and find it now. Ended up making couscous instead. But I can't find anything when I search for how to use it like the ratio of spice for 1 cup of rice.
>>20429767your probably supposed to throw it all in a grinder before use so its more fresh. first time ive ever seen something like that though
>>20429992Who TF put whole-ass nutmegs in a spice grind mix? The question remains
>>20430000"Whole garam masala" is a thing, especially in briryani when you're steaming the flavours into rice. Most people pick out the whole spices when eating. OP: about 1 teaspoon per cup of rice
>>20430038thanks fren I shall try it tomorrow. It's not easy to find since most recipes include making the chicken with it and some include yogurt etc, I'd rather do it separately.
I put about 4 tablespoons of my own spice mix in my biryani but I also use chilli powderI use about 600g of rice and 1.5kg of chicken
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iJUdcbCoIcABtw this is the best chicken biryani recipeYou'd just substitute the mix for the mix they tell you to make in the video
SIR, DO NOT REDEEM THE SPICE. WRONG BRAND OF SPICE!
>>20430200I watched him earlier because he had a "bachelor" rice cooker video. I'll try it when sober, thanks
