fell asleep while making food and now the stainless steel pot is burnt to shit.
>>
Post a picture so we believe you. This boat is half imaginary situations or reposts from reddit. In either case you're either a bot or retarded so I guess it doesn't matter.
>>
This is why I don't cook while drinking. I burnt my 'acaroni 'n 'cheese when I forgot I was cooking and knocked out. The smoke woke me up

I legit did, but I really don't really feel like digging through the trash to retrieve it. this happened like half an hour ago, I was going to make mashed potatoes but I nodded off for like a full hour.

I got a 3rd degree burn on the top of my foot making Kraft. I never realized how dangerous boiling water was. Literally just a little splash and all the skin the water touched is now gone. I was even wearing a sock. I couldn't even wear a shoe for 3 weeks because my foot was giant and swollen.

just clean it and keep using it and it'll go away within a month or two. it's steel, it does not matter.
>>

You utter buffoon
>>
>>20427658
the sock makes it worse you fucking moron.

this, my step mother had an accident when she was young, her mother dropped a pot of boiling water and she got splashed very bad. the docs and surgeons had to surgically peel her clothes off of her body, nightmare fuel type of injury.

if you scorched the shit out of your pot you dont need to throw it away. just scrub the shit out of it with some bar keepers friend
>>
>>20427749
yeah I figured that before but I can't go back in time and remove my sock before the water hit it

I have a fancy Le Creuset teapot. On my gas stove, the flame heats up the spout so that when it whistles and I pour, the water reboils in the spout and blasts out sputtering boiling water and steam everywhere.
>>
>>20427656
>it was icky so i threw it out :)
It's a solid hunk of steel you fucking oaf.
>>
>>20428710
It would have been giving off fumes as the carbon burnt out of it.
>>
>>20428773
where did you get that from? carbon steel doesn't "give off fumes" you retard. go fish that thing out of the trash, clean it and shut up PRONTO!
