Howdy Pizza Jacks and Pizza Jills, it's time for another pizza-chan pizza review!

Today I'll be looking at the Jack's Original Thin Cheese Pizza. I don't have a grill though so I guess I'll be cooking it in an oven! This is the first pizza I've bought that doesn't come in a box, and it was rather inexpensive, but on the other hand some anon's here swear by this pie so I had to try it out!

If I want pizza reviews I will seek out the pizza jew, thanks.

Like Digiorno and Tombstone, Jack's pizzas are made by Nestlé! Unfortunately, Nestlé pizzas haven't gotten some mediocre scores in past reviews. On to the review!

930 calories and it's just a handful of cheese on cardboard with a little queef of tomato paste.
>>
>Jack's pizza

This pie really lives up to the "thin" advertised on the package. In fact, I almost put the cardboard underneath the pie into the oven! I found that the crust cooked unevenly, the center of the pie crust was soft and floppy, and the outside was brittle like a hard cracker, but I found both textures to be rather pleasant for the most part. The cheese was good, but the sauce was very mild, besides one tomato-riffic bite I didn't catch a lot of flavor. I think this is a perfectly acceptable thin crust cheese pizza, as basic and no-frills as you can get. I don't consider price or health in my scoring but if these are concerns for your frozen pizza budget definitely give this one a try.

Score: 6.5/10

This is only the second pizza to score "Good" on Yuka, after a Whole Foods pie, so this is definitely something to consider if you're worried about additives
>>
>>20423461
>>20423470
didnt ask
>>
Here's the one additive to watch out for when considering a Jack's thin cheese pizza
>>
Here's the macro breakdown. Should I post the macro breakdown on future reviews? Let me know what you think!

so they're all shit except for two and I think I missed the zucchini woodfire one
that's terrible consider the price of frozen pizza these days
still waiting on the GV classic crust pepperoni

thanks for the reviews

When you are getting cheap frozen pizzas, there is a trick that allows you to avoid getting rock hard, nasty crusts: cut them up into fourths, and microwave each slice for 10 minutes at half power. Sprinkle some MSG on it first, and then add some ketchup or soy sauce afterwards. To drown the hideous taste.
>>
>>20423423
you're doing God's work, pizzachan
>>
>>20423502
Ah, I didn't remember what you had asked for so I bought the thin crust pepperoni, but I've yet to buy a 'classic crust' from great value so I'll definitely give it a try. I'm keeping a list of requests now so I won't forget
>>20423550
Thanks anon!
>>
>>20423541
just make your own damn pizza its not hard
>>
those and tombstone are my go to frozen pizza. Jacks is less filling, I can eat a whole one as an entire meal and it just fills me up. Tombstone I generally end up with quarter left over.

>>20423461
Why did you crop out your table. Are you afraid someone will find you.

Jack's appeal is
> ITS THE CHEAPEST
thin crust Pepperoni or Supreme is where its at, but those fuckers are now going for >$3.80 now

I switched to online restaurant supply store for Pizzeria Uno brand pizzas with real dough for $3.5/unit

Tony's is cheaper than Jack's
>>
>>20423461
jacks is more thin than they used to be. like they were thin before but the really are paper thin now. sad
>>
>>20424298
I did the california pizza kitchen hot honey pepperoni croissant crust the other day

extremely underwhelming for 12 bucks
>>
>>20424546
Isn't thin good on a thin crust pizza?
>>
>>20424570
of course. what am i thinking. youre right. i want it thin. thinner. it should be like eating a potato chip
>>
>>20424938
Weren't potato chips invented because a chef was trying to maliciously comply with a customer's request for a thinly sliced potato? I'm not sure if you're being sarcastic or not
>>
>>20423477
>powdered cellulose
ok i was typing something witty about the sawdust in rice crispy treats meme but after looking for it to reference, "wood flour" is unironically sawdust and it's just not funny anymore
>>
>>20424938
>>20424971
i think that was a meme but i would definitely be a fan of tortilla-thin crust pizza if the topping ratio was reasonable
