Does anybody know what Zenkaikon is going to be like this year? It seems somewhat far from any major city but from my past experience with the con it seemed to be pretty lively back them.
It's pretty packed here right now, at least for the space it's hosted in.
So do small cons no longer air anime in favor of endless LGBT panels? Because that's what Zenkaikon felt like this year.
>>10907138>So do small cons no longer air animeBe sure to thank your benevolent monopolistic master for that
>>10907141no, you can thank japanese companies for supporting them.
>>10907141i miss tape swapping so much
How is this con? My mom moved to Lancaster and I thought about timing a visit down to see her and check out the con.
>>10907242If you really like LGBT panels and Cosplay meetups this might be your thing. If you like panels about literally anything else you won't find it here. The 21+ events were pretty fun and the cash bar wasn't too bad. The dance is pretty good for a con of it's size. I had a decent time all things considered.
>>10907245I like cosplay meetups and have no gripes with LGBT panels I like cash bars a lot and dances too.How big is the con?
>>10907251sub 10k, last year's official number was 7k and the figures for this year aren't out.
>>10907253That's pretty solid for central the city size.
>>10907255A lot of people I spoke with commuted in which surprised me. Lancaster itself is pretty cool when there aren't religious nuts calling in bomb threats. The only thing that really sucks is PA spring weather. It really sucked this year. If you do go next year hope to bump into you.
