The beta kids were silly but in the same way that characters in contemporary webcomics were, they were absurd but not over the top. I saw a cute Gamzee cosplayer at a local con a couple of weeks back. She mentioned she was there with a Terezi too but I never saw them unfortunately. Homestuck fans are an endangered species these days but it's nice to know they (we) still exist.
