I'm thinking of developing a massive online multiplayer crypto tournament betting game where users chip in and play some simple game in a tournament elimination structure, and the first winners split the pot.

So for example 100 users chip in $1 each to play, and they compete in FlappyBird, and the first 5 places take $20 each.

Here's the kicker: I'll give out special links here for bookmakers to organize tournaments, so no matter who wins the game, the bookmaker takes a slice.

You can organize massive tournaments, like with 1,000 players, so even with small bets like $1, users can win large amounts.

Some anons pointed out that FlappyBird can be easily cheated with bots, so I might need some other simple gameplay that is not easy to bot.

Anyone here would be interested in something like this?
You think it could work?
Any idea for a simple gameplay mechanic?

That's fucking genius.
>>
>>58420229
you need to do it in existing games that have anti cheat stuff .

If you make it a PC game I can legitimately sponsor the tournament with mousepads.
As for the game type I have no idea. Whatever is easy to develop is likely easy to be exploited, no?
Maybe tie it into an existing E-sport or a speedrunning category?
>>
>>58420229
You could do something like Fall Guys or those Roblox mini games. You should have varying pot sizes like betting 10 cents or 10 dollars rather than just 1 dollar pots to account for varying audiences.
>>
>>58420229
try esports like cs2, dota2, starcraft 2, tekken, etc
>>
>>58420339
thanks fren

>>58420346
you mean sell physical mouse pads with the game printed graphics on them?
>Whatever is easy to develop is likely easy to be exploited, no?
a game can be simple for humans but difficult for a bot, for example hidden information like in poker makes it non trivial to cheat with a bot
>Maybe tie it into an existing E-sport or a speedrunning category?
E-sport you mean like Call of Duty tournaments? It needs to be a really simple game, we want to collect tournament rake every couple of minutes

>>58420349
in one tournament, all players need to chip in the same amount, like in poker tournaments

I don't know Fall Guys or Roblox
>>
>>58420367
I guess that can be implemented but to organize a tournament like this is a large marketing project and the games go on for hours

the idea here is to get people to play FlappyBird for a couple of minutes for a chance to win big

>you mean sell physical mouse pads with the game printed graphics on them?
I'm setting up a brand of mousepads and "battlestation decoration" and been trying to sponsor something for exposure. The print on it would either be tournament-specific or just the standard brand issue. You'd be the event manager so it's up to you.
>E-sport you mean like Call of Duty tournaments? It needs to be a really simple game, we want to collect tournament rake every couple of minutes
Wouldn't have to be that lengthy. E-sports can have fairly fast-paced rounds like >>58420367 suggested.
>>
>>58420369
Yeah, I mean like different tables at a casino where big betters can do X amount for a game and another group can do 10 cents per game, just depending on the users risk tolerance. Roblox and Fall Guys are just interactive mini games. If you know Mario Party, something like that.

you can have $0.10 tournaments, $1 tournaments, etc

idk if you've ever been to a live poker tournament but they have let's say 100 players, and they split them into let's say 10 tables (because you can't put too many players on one table), and as players are eliminated, the best players from each table consolidate until there is one winner

so the idea here is to do the same online, but you can have like 1,000 players, so like for $1 entry fee you can win $500, and it depends on your skill in one of those simple one click games

Something like pvp poker maybe.
>>
You could go super simple and do a fair verified dice game, highest number wins etc.

it's just an idea, i don't have something ready yet, but if i do, i'll post on 4chan

Completely retarded.
It will obviously become a bot and/or cheat tournament.

I dont think you need to take this like a casino project but as a wallets can directly bet each other on an agreed upon thing with counter party risk pooling via smart contracts, Focus it via games and Id love to see weekend amateur style tournaments for popular games instead of having to wait for season long tournaments.

I guess you could submit the replays via kleros kourt or something to determine outcome if you think the other party cheated
>>
>>58422413
could also host basically battle bots for hackers for some games, people arent wrong about that being an issue. Should make a Discord or telegram
>>
>>58422413

this is smarter than trying to make an actual game
>>
>>58420229
Starcraft broodwar crypto tournaments operational
>>
Make a platform where people put money on their favorite players and the players get a percentage for participating, then some percentage of the win. So player nig fights player ger, people bet 100 on nig, 1000 on ger, 1100 total, nig and ger get 11 each if they complete the game, one of them wins they get an extra 110
>>
>>58422720
that would be susceptible to cheating
>>
>>58420870
no script or bots, the idea is that you can bet but it depends on your skill, like poker, but casual simple games like FlappyBird that anyone can play

Well web3 is so desperate right now they'll take any partnership they can get their way as long as there's a little something in it for them so maybe you can collab with some games? Shrapnel, Blocklords? Unless you are talking normal games which I don't think many companies will be happy with your platform being used specifically to bet real money (crypto) on
