Anyone here who works or worked a crypto job?Kraken, Binance, Certik etc have some jobs that look pretty easy and will pay you a 80-120k salary working from home.Is it comfy? Any interesting stories?
>>58417512I have a crypto job, pays me pretty well and is fun imoIt's pretty funny when you see things shilled here and you actually can technically understand how dogshit they are
>>58417512i have 5 years of devops experiencee and applied for these jobs at exchanges and they didn't even write me back. theres 10s of thousands that you compete with world wide for these jobs. only if you are in the top 0.1 percent of best nerds will you even get an interview.
>>58417593Broadly speaking what do you do and how much are you paid? No need for details, just curious>>58417601Not encouraging, I wonder if more esoteric positions like onchain investigation for crimes like drainers, exploits etc also get many applications. Those also seem like the most fun
>>58417609If I told you the actual amount you would think I'm larping but I make around 7 figs. I do bug bounties and audits for a wide part of the stack and even cryptography stuff
I also have a crypto job and work for one of the core teams of The Graph Protocol. Ask me anything.
>>58417809Good job fren good for you
>>58417817What do you do and how much do you make? How was the working environment when GRT dumped to 5 cents in 2022?
>>58417512They're shit, kek, but hey, at least it'll let me get into 1intro shitcoins at some point
>>58417512I a, a super expert in trading Basically I buy the dip and then sell the recovery
>>58417512no but I want to get some experience in this by creating a coinI will probably do it with pinksale, the most important thing is to make connections
>>58417512If I had worked in crypto before I would not have bought SOL-based shitcoins without 1intro>>58417601Maybe you should get a real job?
>>58417512I worked freelance with Dexview devs to customize their site, shit's great ngl
>>58417512i work in crypto. i make about $88000 a year. it is literally a dream job in nearly every way. comfy af.
>>58417512If anything, work for a DAO. Lowest barrier to entry since you really just need to hang out in community forums for awhile until you build reputation. Plus you wont be wage cucking for companies that are really just a less regulated spin on fintech. Srsly fuck binance, kraken, certik (lol) that is bottom of the barrel opportunity, those companies really need to fail for the industry to move forward overall

>>58420978Nice bait, actually reviewed some on/offchain stuff from them before
