not trying to defend Swift here, because she's is the most dishonest person in music, but usually when someone says they grew up in an asylum it means they had a big family with a lot of siblings, and so their upbringing was often chaotic. As someone who grew up in a large family I can relate to this line. Typically you need a large house to have a big family, so I wouldn't exactly consider that line specifically to be dishonest. I can reach c4 to e5 and just barely. And yes I know that my hands are technically an adequate size, but it's the difference of taking 6 months vs 2 years to fully polish a piece. I develop muscle memory insanely quickly, but my hand size makes everything feel less natural and frustrating. Yes I know this is a skill issue but my point stands that it's my hand size alone that is currently impeding me
