You can produce minimal amounts of energy from pee by allowing it to to rot until it starts gassing off ammonia. Ammonia can be used as a fuel but not easy since the reaction product is nitric acid.Its easier to sell the urea and use the proceeds to pay a power company to sell you electricity.

Anon mentioned a simple one which is to heat your feedstock with the condensing gasses. Vapor compression distillation takes that a step further by boiling the solution with the compressed gasses which means it needs a relatively small initial amount of energy to get started and then you just have to put in as much energy as you lose as the process continues.
