>>92578800Apologies, Star Commander. My assistant attached an outdated image of my force to this transmission. Worry not - he will be executed at sunset for his treason against the Dragon.

>>92579693Is this canon? No wonder everyone loves Comstar.Still no Davions falling to degeneracy. Once again white Christian PrV00Jotestants win.
>>92579925Its from the old Periphery sourcebook, page 60 in my copy. Based on its chapter placement, its likely that den is somewhere in the Outworlds Alliance. However, theres a paragraph above it describing the "New Hedons" and mention they're on many worlds throughout the Periphery

>*various images play of operation RAT*>This is the CCAF Emergency Field Mess Kit mk2. Produced under emergency war protocols in the 4th Succession war. Now the thing you need to remember about CCAF ration is that they can be a bit unpredictable. You can see here by the markings that this meal was intended for mech warriors so it will be of a higher quality than say the tank or infantry variants. Even then, these are known for having seals break or going rancid during jump ship transportation. >Lets get this opened up. *slices open the package* First we have our main this one is barely porridge, you also get a small can of tushonka with it, looks like the can is still in tact. Here we have some dried fruit of some sort, and this one here says it's a pickled vegetable. And last is the accessory packet, you get some tea in this one no coffee, spork, toilet paper. You notice no heater, as this was a mech warrior ration they can be heated using the mech. Alright let's get this out of a tray. Nice.
>>92580374We had so many popes and none of them had a mother who was the Whore of Babylon that rode a beast with twelve heads and carried the sun and the moon in a chalice or whatever.
>>92580766pope just means father in medieval italian. It's the same thing we translate as priest. You're using quibbling about words to gotcha us.The truth is that we all know Davions are the only good guys in Battletech. You're trying to distract from that main idea with your quibbles because you know you're wrong. So you're correct that Davions use the naughty no-no word to describe the head of their DEMOCRATICALLY ELECTED PROTESTANT CHRISITANITY SECT. I will grant you that. But you in turn must acknowledge that they are white Anglo Saxon and Protestant in their outlook.
>>92579925When Stefan Amaris' soldiers first secured control of Terra in 2770 and laid siege to the Vatican, Catholic Pope Clement XXVII dispatched a message to the five cardinals who oversaw the Church in the Star League's other member states. Correctly anticipating his death at the hands of the Greenhaven Gestapo, Clement stepped down from his position and granted the cardinals the temporary power necessary to run the church in their respective domains.Clement intended for the College of Cardinals to elect his successor once the opportunity arose, but New Avalon's Cardinal Kinsey de Medici received a garbled message which he interpreted to mean that Clement had placed him in charge of the Church. Later, upon learning of the massacre of Clement and nearly everybody else in the Vatican, de Medici moved swiftly to assume control of the Church. Despite being informed of Clement's actual message, he appointed a new College of Cardinals who confirmed his election as Pope Thomas X, following which the new pontiff announced his authority over all Catholics in known space.
>>92580831wrong thread.but yeah, culture drift is a thing. Kind of like the whole ISIS thing beign somewhat cringe if say, Mehmed II or Suleiman would have been in charge of a still living ottoman empire and would have seen them as bloody fools that should be sliced posthaste. But they did manage to do a fuckton of work while larping now, did they not? and that was IRL. I see no reason why in the future after two or three essentially apocalypses level fall of civilizations that some would perhaps try and make something that works and they would do the smart thing and take the blueprints for something that already has proven that it works. sure it only works for a couple of centuries, but that is honestly good enough. nobody manages to make it past a couple or a few centuries without a civil war or reformation that essentially makes it into something completely different anyway.
>>92580860So what? I don't care what they do. I'm talking about Davions.
>>92580544So in a standard network of 4, it would cost an extra 20%?
>>92580860Which mirrors very nicely the whole schism and why roman-catholics are the first major surviving low grade heretical schismatics.which is funny imho, since if they would have gone with the papal sugestion it would have went to the patriarchal council of Constantinople type of deal of the orthodox church, and so eventually getting to be right again, but in a nice way history was made to rhyme and redo the whole schism but different.
>>92580781Lack of Instant Type II is always a problem. If they do not have that than at least a cigar or a few ml of complimentary alcohol.
>>92580544bv is also somewhat funy. C-bill costs is also, but those are the rules for tring to have matched forces, instead of the irl thing of outmassing, outspending and outnumbering the foe 5:1 if at all possible.
>>92577666>why ballistics even exist/used then?TW turn duration fucked ballistics over. Solaris is a more "realistic" depiction, where ACs generally get two to three shots in the timeframe it takes to recharge the next shot on a direct energy weapon. So for every 10 points of a PPC, you get 15 out of an AC5 and 20 out of an AC10.

>>92580439Looks nice. As >>92581544 said, try steadying the camera, or possibly setting the focal point on one of the mechs. It looks like the shot's focal point is on the cutting mat directly behind+between the Blackjack+Grasshopper, causing reduced focus.
>>92581626CC also have a Thugee Cult of Kali, which may or may not actually exist in real life depending on if you believe colonial British officers who needed something to blame for the problems in their areas of control. But in Battletech, it definitely exists, and one of Romano Liao's (Sun Tzu's sister) kids becomes the leader of them.
>>92581682Lots of bishops, laymen, and thinkers have had issues with the church. None of them destroyed the church in their quest for worldly power. For a contemporary example of the Satanist Luther, see Erasmus, who knew how to criticize the church without being an evil monstrous heretic. I will pray that Christ brings you back to the true church.
>>92581762Sorry, the kid is Sun Tzu's sister, not Romano. Romano is his mom.

>>92581626>Korvin Doctrine, The Sarna MandateThose aren't really religions. They, along with the Lorix Order, are the three philosophical doctrines the Capellan system of government is built around, though the Warrior House orders do tend to mix aspects of them into Buddhism and Confucianism they practice.>The Korvin Doctrine: people should base their actions on what best serves the greater good of humanity (basically utilitarianism). The Capellan state obviously defines "serving the greater good of humanity" as "serving the Capellan Confederation".>Sarna Mandate: the common folk lack the ability to see the big picture, beyond their own personal needs, so the elite must take charge and use whatever means necessary to ensure the survival of the state, no matter how many people die in the process. How this applies to the Capellans state should be self-explanatory>The Lorix Order: the most complex of the philosophies, and the only one you might be able to call a religion though it's more of a code of conduct for mechwarriors. In short it amounts to mechwarriors being the ultimate form of soldier and therefore should be held in the highest esteem, but at the same time they must serve and protect the people of their nation, and should hold themselves accountable to the highest degree of honor and chivalry. It's a key tenet of the Warrior House orders, and is also used by the state to justify the continued existence of mechwarrior noble families which kind of go against the philosophy the Confederation is supposed to be built around.

>>92582015>Sikhism is also a philosophy,Christianity is a philosophy if you ignore the dogma, the theology, the religious rituals and the way it interconnects with political power, yes.
>>92582032Christ is a title, and at the time, the idea that Jesus was the Christ was not settled. Simon Magus was considered the Christ by Simonians, who limped along for a few centuries before being completely buried. Technically they'd also be Christians, believing that the Christ is real and has appeared, but they're not even remotely the same as what we'd call Christians today, since they're starting from a completely different base.

>>92582098I'm sorry to break this to you, but religions only sprang into existance after the fall of the Buddhist Empire, because the usual case was that any religion was merely a description of the political apparatus of a community, meaning that they had no faith, just a weird theory of statehood. So Buddhism became the first true religion, with Christianity following way later, after the investiture controversy had sufficiently widened the split between worldly and religious institutions in Europe.Meanwhile, Hinduism and Islam are in fact not religions and never were.

>>92582350IIRC the CJF introduced the Jade Falcons in some, if not all, of their OZ planets. But i think there was another bird that the Lyran found that excel in hunting the Jade Falcon and use it to troll the CJF.
>>92582425Even so, no written warrior I've read in the novels to earn a bloodname has ever actually performed this hunt.
>>92582348Look, Freddy Steiner has always been politically inept. And it is very much in character after winning on the field to fuck up the home situation beyond belief. He was going in that direction with the LC. And he continued with CS.
>>92582015None of the three really have any trappings of religion, like a priesthood, rituals associated with them, or holy scripture. The Lorix Order comes closest since it has the essay originally written by Kalvar Lorix, which has a list of 6 statements that define the philosophy, but it's basically a chivalric code rather than a religion. The other two are basically a single sentence each, and amount of phrases the Capellan government can throw around to justify why they're doing the things they do.

Things happened. I for one do not find it at all odd that his former lover who after his death took over as primus was his main opposition on the whole Helm issue, and shortly thereafter he died of heart attack, due to old age and the vigorous arguing. >>92583069they probably want to do DFAs and only DFAs as the only real option to fight other mechs and else bully non mechs like infantry or quickcell vees.urbanmech for anyone not playing city guard is retarded.
>>92583168The game was all bug mechs, which made the Urbanmen's AC10 the BFG.
>>92583178I think this Is a over correction if thats the point then because God DAMN everyones going to be under powered. the people im running with are also largely unfamiliar with Btech as a setting (normal fags) but im just shocked how under powered everyone is willing to be even after I told everyone how soft light mechs are and how easy they are too get blown up with anything heavier then a medium laser or a AC 5.>>92583188Ay he Urbanmech player is a memester
Kinda surprised there was never a Jenner II since the Owens is a flop.
>>92583230jesus
>>92583199you are aware this is a circlejerk, right? Thus it will always have more than two participants who but in on a chain.tg used to have id tags, if i recall correctly in the age of quests, and whenever someone has to post not that anon abbreviation i cringe inside.then again you seem to have some kind of mental divergence in identifying as other anons. the whole we are anon is a meme, anon.
>>92583221You're just worried about being identifiable to any degree for the duration of a single thread, must be an avid samefagger.
>>92583222damn trips. again unfortunatly all of them are newfags and only really played the Introduction Demogame using the full classic rules. ie a Griffin vs a Vindicator
>>92583297nta but throw some soft targets at them first should make things feel nice
>>92583297kind of a bit also your problem for letting them pick and choose whatever, as all of them are newfags you now have to do some kind of introductory line and one of them is way overtonnage to play lightmech trainer lance of run around and run away for if you fight you die. I mean drop the urban and the warhammer and you can play green recce scout lance.if you are fighting you are doing it wrong the only fight is to disengage or to ambush other recce lances.if they want to play lights go full on light mindset. if they also have access too fancy electronics like TAG, BAP and ECM later you can upgrade them to arty spotters, so they can pretend they have some kind of firepower once they learn that if they actually fight anything they die and should always only ambush.
>>92583360>>92583297Just let them roll against vees and infantry first and grant them objectives that don't require them to engage in battle at all, if they choose so?
>>92582147>Stop jerking to your animu catgirl coomer.I will, literally and not at all metaphorically, kill you and everyone else here, before I ever even <consider> that course of action.
>>92583365I honestly dont mind some of them being recons as Its going to make the game sligtly more interesting Im just dreading trying to keep all the modifiers wraped around my head during fast maths and trying too keep the narrative up, the rules that Im using (Destiny, Unfortunatly) also had them start off at the Regular experience level, and I made it explicitly clear that they can have medium mechs. which is why im still baffeled that they all mainly went straight for lights outside the Davion country bumbkin who also deliberately chose too be poor lowering his total hardware limit, I guess I just have too have them fight Tanks and infantry for the time being until heavier stuff comes along forcing them too face the reality that Lights arent exactly the way too go all the time
>>92582856>you fucking jerking to anime catgirls in an non-anime setting.Which setting is that supposed to be? Because it's certainly not Battletech. Anime is part of Battletech and always will be you little fun hating newfag.
>>92583269>>92583272>>92583272IT DOESN'T MATTER HOW MANY POSTERS THERE ARE. IF YOU ARE NOT BRAINDEAD IT IS VERY EASY TO RESPOND CORRECTLY. If I get into this, is there like a battle box that has enough minis to paint two different ''armies''?I know it's more like 4 mechs each person, and I'd rather do that than do that dumbass warhammer shit with thousands of fucking minis on a fake hill or shit.I just like the idea of mech minis and how cool they look.
>>92583487Anime is in Battletechs DNA but by enlarge Battletech is a straight faced western Military Science Fiction setting. yes it has many writing conventions of mecha anime and plot points lifted too. but all the japaneseisms where gutted in the name of starship troopers
>>92583487I always thought battletech was a CIA psyop to make people hate Weaboo shit. Every single draco or capellan player I've ever seen certainly hates themselves, just like 99% of everyone else who plays the game.
>>92583511The starter box has enough Mechs in it for eight people to play a legal game simultaneously.
>>92583487There isn't much Anime in BT beyond some name dropping, it's been all filled out by penny dreadful scifi literature.
>>92583515>all the japaneseisms where gutted in the name of starship troopers
>>92583560ya, the Anime of the Veritech fighters where gutted for a western, Star Ship Troopers explination for transformable mech(a)'s
>>92583521The more I read about the Capellans getting bodied in the Succession Wars the more I want to support them out of pure contrarianism.
>>92583451
>>92583577if it wasnt for them being Fascist Socialists I would do the same. unfortunatly my heart torn between with the FWL LC out of how reasonable they are compared too the galatic east
>>92583577Even if you are a contrarian, you'd have to ignore everything about them and ignore all lore. They're such fucking disgusting subhuman scum. And this is from an open incel.
>>92583595Watching Sven Van Der Plank's videos about Succession wars made me appreciate FWL, especially Charles Marik.
>>92579065I think the cat ears might get in the way of a neurohelmet.
>>92583560Kinda reinforces his point. LAMs were just a wink and a nod to the anime inspired designs, and were subsequently shunted into the extinct category. No faction gets them in any kind of numbers, save the niche Star League and the slightly less niche WoB, and of the few people who play in those eras of Star League and Jihad, only a percentage of enthusiasts (hi LAMFAG) plays with LAMs.
>>925835773rd SW era and earlier Capellans have the underdog wibe going for them. They're certainly not good people, but you have to appreciate them surviving despite being constantly on the backfoot and pulling out all the tricks just to keep threading water.
>>92583631>They're such fucking disgusting subhuman scum. And this is from an open incel.I guess I am a Capellan now.
>>92583521Odd, most drac players I've met aren't like that at all
>>92583833Every Drac player I've met gave me Ironic Zeek vibes if they where ever into gundam.
>>92583751If she's a cyborg, the ears a probably plug and play. I mean those part are company property too and are to be used by the next cyborg hooker as well.
>>92583577The Cappies got upgraded pretty well. They went from adding a tank to their lance to the mass-adaption of stealth armour to getting enough BA to form something resembling a doctrine.
>>92583855If the ears are plug and play, then they must have a permanent mounting point, which makes me think, could you move them around like a real cat?
>>92583069How are they getting these mechs mechanically? Because in the RPG systems I'm familiar with, getting a mech at all is pretty easy, but making it heavier than Light is a serious investment of points or XP or whatever. Even more if they actually own it themselves and aren't just assigned to it.
>>92583510>zoomiesThat'd be you, and you're definitely defending samefagging.
>>92583549That's the A Game of Armored Combat box. The one actually called a starter box only has 2.
>>92583933They Pic which weight bracket they want, as in light medium or heavy if they can afford the latter, then I have them roll on MWII's Mech assignment table which then they get the most basic stock they roll. the Canopus Catgirl player had too roll on Mariks table because they where the closest too canopus space. despite everyone being regulars allowing them to get Medium Hardware everyones choosing to pick lighter mechs deliberately outside the guy who got the warhammer for picking the Wealthy Trait. even the pheonix hawk player delibretly picked a Medium weight bracket mech even though he picked the wealthy trait too. No I cant figure out the thought process behind these decisions either thats why im venting here about them
>>92581973>>92582018When have I never? :)LOGAN’S LANCERS BATTLE REPORT:3026 MARIAN INCURSION [PART 1]Date: June, 3026Location: Logan Prime’s Moon, Planetary Defense BasePlanet Status: Under blitzkrieg assault by Marian Hegemony forces.Logan Prime Moon Base Forces (mine):>(x4) “Talos” TLS-1B> “Jenner” JR7-DMarian Forces (enemy):>"Mackie” MSK-9H>”Ymir” BWP-2B>”Gladiator” GLD-4R>”BattleAxe” BKX-7KThe Marian Hegemony has always been poking at the Lothian League, Logan Prime being the forwarding base of defense against pirating raids and incursions. Thanks to Hamric Industries and their partnership with the locals, they’ve created a fruitful relationship where Logan Prime’s manufacturing capabilities have nearly tripled in the past 50 years. Lately the Hamric’s have aided them in setting up a makeshift Planetary Defense Response base on their moon, and Logan Prime forces have set up a Talos lance on the satellite to defend it in case of attacks.Knowing this, and with careful planning, the Marian Hegemony acted to cripple the Lothian League by crippling the planet in a two stage attack; take out the defense base on the moon, and then invade the planet to cripple its infrastructure. The first phase of the attack was the most crucial, and so the Marian’s brought out a lance of advanced and powerful Mechs from the Star League Era, including a deadly Mackie 9H variant.Carefully calculating the orbit of the moon, the small dropship snuck onto the satellite from its dark side, and began to march toward the operating base. Once local range sensors picked up the lance, the Talos lance and the additional Jenner marched out to meet them. The Marians had the advantage in the sheer size and weight of their mechs, though the moon forces were advanced pilots (3/4 Marians vs 2/3 Periphery).

>>92584023
>>92584023Sorry for the lack of paint in >>92584034, I just assembled them and hadn't gotten a chance to do any priming or anything yet.
>>92584023>[Turn 1]The moment they were within engagement range, all sides began to fire. Immediately things turned south when one of the Talos Mechs lost its AC/10 from one of the many PPC rounds firing at them. Though some of their long range missiles and AC/10 shots hit their marks, the armor and positioning of the enemy mechs made causing any real damage a chore.
>>92584077
>>92584061No, you're good. It's not like you're just painting the unit and leaving the bases undone with paint slopped over them. Or painting your units in unironic fascist colors. Those are bad things. Not having your stuff painted because they're new is fine.
Is there any standard you should be upgrading pilots to?
>>92584077>[Turn 2]With the Gladiator jumping forward, one of the Talos moved to engage him. The Ymir took off to provide assistance, and two of the Talos mechs took off to focus fire the Ymir’s retreating form. The Jenner sprinted over the hills and across the landscape to pass by the Mackie, planning on delivering some armor melting laser fire, and the Talos with the crippled Autocannon stood in place to provide LRM cover against the Mackie. The enemy BattleAxe held its position, as well as the Mackie, and instead focused on taking aim for improved accuracy. The Ymir took damage, but not enough to punch through its armor, and the Gladiator suffered minimal damage, along with the Mackie. In return, the Mackie opened up with laser fire and a single AC/20 round that obliterated the left side of the Jenner, despite the mech’s speed.
>>92584104
>>92584104>>92584099 And thanks, much appreciated anon. Though I'm confused, don't you mean fascistic 'symbols'?
>>92584104>[Turn 3]Attempting to maneuver for a more advantageous position, the Talos lance tried to pursue the Gladiator, but the mech jumped to safety, while the Ymir reversed course and focused on the repositioned duo that focus fired it. The Jenner ran for cover to avoid being hit again as it attempted to cool off, but was unfortunately open to fire from the Ymir. The already crippled Talos held firm and only focused on providing fire against the Mackie. The results of this were a disaster. Withering fire punched through armor and a second Talos lost its AC/10 to PPC fire. The Jenner was hit with a round from the Ymir and its SRM-4 was completely crippled. At this point, there was no way the lance was going to survive the encounter with a good chunk of its firepower crippled outright and the Jenner nearly dead. The Marian’s allowed them to flee, only because time was of the essence and making sure the moon was secure for staging a planetary invasion was of utmost importance. They held the moon as more forces poured into the system, repairing the armor on their mechs to prepare to join the rest down on the planet for the assault….(Long story short, I my main firepower so overtly crippled in the first 3 rounds that continuing would have been an absolute slog, so we decided to call the match there. Thankfully there was enough time to continue playing one more smaller match, so we came up with something that worked out surprisingly well, and turned the day around...)
>>92584023>>92584077>>92584104>>92584170Continued in Battle Report #2...HAMRIC INDUSTRIES BATTLE REPORT (for Tax Filing Purposes):3026 MARIAN INCURSION [PART 2]Date: June, 3026Location: Logan Prime, [Details Redacted]Planet Status: Under blitzkrieg assault by Marian Hegemony forces.Hamric's Forces (mine):>"Marauder" MAD-3R [Pilot Samantha Hamric]>"Wolverine” WVR-6R [Pilot Jacob Hamric]Marian Forces (enemy):>"Mackie” MSK-9HAfter the initial routing of Logan Prime forces on the moon and the destruction of its planetary defense platforms, the pirate lance from the Marian Hegemony repatched their armor while Marian forces began to descend on the planet. At the time, the Hamric family was on a business trip establishing trade deals and plans to upgrade and build more facilities on Logan Prime. With knowledge of the elite lance that took out the Talos Guard stationed on the moon and the information obtained by the battle, it was determined that the top priority for destruction was the Mackie. With the planet under a massive raiding assault, most of Logan Prime’s forces, including Logan’s Lancers and Logan’s Longshots, were too busy trying to fend off the lesser Marian forces to deal with the ancient assault mech. As luck would have it, the elite lance that took out the moon outpost decided to split its forces once it hit the ground, getting cocky with most of the planets forces engaged. The Mackie was heading to a critical comms outpost to destroy it and cripple communications across the planet.
>>92584221[Turn 1]Samantha Hamric, being the closest to the outpost, went to intercept the Mackie with her Marauder. Jacob Hamric joined his sister, having to take his faster Wolverine to catch up to her in time. Once they grouped up, the began to engage the Mackie. The Hamric siblings split up, Samantha driving straight for the enemy to draw his fire while firing off a PPC round, while Jacob jumped between tree lines to cover his flanking advance. The Mackie positioned itself on higher ground and behind cover, as it began to fire both PPCs at the advancing Marauder.[Turn 2]Bart hopped forward again, popping off an AC/5 shot that nicked the Mackie, but the hefty armor was barely damaged by the shot. Samantha’s PPC’s however slammed into the Mackie, melting off some of its armor. The fire she received in return blasted armor from her left leg, while they continued to advance.
>>92584234
>>92584234>[Turn 3] While getting into prime engagement range, Samantha maneuvered herself into a more advantageous position hidden within a tree line, as she let her mech cool down while firing a PPC and AC/5 at the Mackie. Her damage struck true, sheering off more of its heavy armor. All the while, Jacob had landed in a position to hide from the Mackies more deadly fire, while the Mackie maneuvered down to engage Samantha directly.Opening up with its PPC and AC/20, both shots BLASTING Samantha’s mech head on, evaporating most of the armor from the Marauder in a single go. Stumbling from the hit, she quickly righted herself to continue engaging the monstrous foe.
>>92584262
What is the best 80 tonner and why is it the Zeus?
What's the best omni-blackjack config?
>>92584262>[Turn 4]Taking a risk, Samantha kept herself hidden within the tree line, as Jacob took the opportunity to flank the Mackie and distract it from his sister. The Mackie maneuvered to engage Jacob, firing off an AC/20 round and its medium lasers being in such close range, while Jacob fired back with his SRM-6 and Medium laser. The Mackie’s fire missed, and several missiles peppered its body in return. In return, Samantha opened up with a hail of PPC and AC/5 fire, which blasted more armor off of the Mackie, slowly beginning to whittle it down.
>>92584285>[Turn 5]The Mackie turned to run, seeking a more advantageous position as the pilot became concerned. Jacob pursued, and caught up to the Macike to deliver an Alpha Strike to its rear, medium laser melting off back armor while an AC/5 round struck true to the enemy cockpit, and a kick damaging its arm. Samantha stood her ground and fired off another round of PPC and AC, trying to snipe the enemy out. The Mackie, in return, twisted around to fire its AC/20 at Jacob, which he barely dodged in time as the round sailed into the hillside behind him.
>>92583069You're playing with fucking unicorns is what's happening. I go to the FLGS every week with between 4-8 other players, and have a separate campaign group of 4, and it's a rare fucking day when someone voluntarily picks something lighter than a Pixie.Like maybe the lore-guy will have a token light as a concession to the setting, but I usually expect to see at least 2 heavies in a lance, and 3 is not infrequent. The actual lore should have mediums being the largest percentage of your force, with plenty of lights, a good chunk of heavies, and then a tithe of assaults. But that's not what players tend to pick, so consider yourself in rare territory.
>>92584292>[Turn 6]The Mackie turned to engage the siblings head on, while Jacob deftly jumped behind the Mackie to avoid head on fire. Another blistering exchange of fire took place from the siblings, the armor now slowly beginning to whittle down on the left torso, while the right arm’s armor was nearly sheered off. However, in a sudden bout of luck from the Mackie, it turned its AC/20 onto Jacob again, its shot striking true on his center torso! The armor was instantly vaporized, miraculously leaving his internals undamaged.
>>92584316The sheer level of EXACT CT armor being shredded in one hit is astounding this game...
>>92584316[Turn 7]Samantha called out to her brother to group up with her as she held to her position. Jacobs Wolverine jumped to higher ground and behind cover nearby her Marauder, but the Mackie pursued. Emboldened by the damage it delt, and looking to finish one of them off, the Mackie entered into deadly firing range, assaulting Samantha’s mech with shots from the AC/20 and its medium lasers. One of the lasers melted off the last bit of her Center Torso armor, and for a moment, she saw her life flash as the AC/20 round bore down on her.In a stroke of divine luck, the round whiffed into the hill behind her. After a heart stopping moment, the siblings struck back, and peppered the Mackie with close range fire. Out of all the shots, it was a single shot from Samantha’s PPC at close range that blasted into the already damaged cockpit of the mech, vaporizing the pilot and winning the fight.
>>92584099If the models weren't glued to bases by default and leaving me reluctant to remove them, I would just have painted figures on plain black bases. It's not interesting and I don't like standing in a desert on a light woods hex. Flat paint is at least a modicum of effort.
>>92584297I cant tell if your shitting on my players or congragulating them
>>92584342
>>92584342>[Epilogue]The siblings stood over the downed Mackie, their center torso’s exposed but no internal damage taken. With the comms relay protected, eventually the Marian Hegemony forces reported being overwhelmed by coordinated assaults by the Lancers and Longshots. In the end, though towns and infrastructure were damaged by the heavy assault, the Marian forces were eventually driven to retreat by the locals. The critical assistance from the Hamrics made discussions between the locals more agreeable to licensing out some of their Talos designs to Hamric Industries for reproduction and distribution. In addition, the Hamrics took the Mackie back to Huntington, trying to decide whether to keep it in reserve, or turn it into a museum display to get more tourists to their edge of the FWL….>[Battle Report End]
>>92584371So, I hope you all enjoyed that two part battle report from yesterday's game. I got my shit pushed in in the first one, but managed to get my revenge on that goddamn Mackie 9H in round two.And it made for a nice narrative that I quite enjoyed putting together!
I wish UAC5 were as badass as in Battletech PC game.
>>92583577Everything post 4th SSW has been basically a never-ending string of cappie victories. If it weren't for Clan Wolf, they'd be the undisputed GOATs of plot armor within the setting. Saying that you're a Cappellan fan because they're the underdogs means that you're either playing with 3025-forever grogs, or are trying to gaslight the audience. Neither's a particularly great look.

>>92584269A challenger appears!
>>92584433The ROTS beat them on the routine so badly that despite never disarming like everyone else they still weren't a military peer to the FedSuns and got sent home in the Victoria War.
>>92584498Luv the awesome and always have one in my companies, and yet I wouldn't call it the best. It is slow, I often struggle to walk it in range and 66% of firepower is in the torsos, so quite vulnerable to flanking and under running. At least it has plentiful back armor
>>92584269I think on paper it's the awesome. But the zeus has always been a favorite of mine and worked wonders for me (when it's a PPC variant). The 9T specifically is usually what holds up my FCCW lyran lances
Neanderthal AGSarath BSarath ATrebuchet 9NGonna Regulan so hard. Minimum speed 5/8, sometimes 6/9, two melee mechs, four cLRM-15s. The only way it could be more Regulan is if something had an Arrow IV with extra spicy missiles.
>>92584023 >crippled>>92584104 >crippled>>92584170 >crippled>>92584221 >crippleAnon, you have a crippling need of a thesaurus. One could say that your vocabulary is crippled by its lack of variety. You've deliberately crippled your posts with the sparsity of synonyms. Silly grammar tics aside, nice batrep, thanks for the posts.
>>92584362They will live in interesting times and may burn through a few PCs just from sheer accumulated pilot damage. I sincerely wish them the best of luck. Lights in my experience work best as part of a larger force where they can harass and hover until they've got an opportunity for a backstab, where they either pay for their own BV many times over, or die ignominiously. The second option is much more likely than the first. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE some of my light mechs, but I'd never want to run a unit that was mostly light mechs. They want to have that heavy fist of mediums and heavies to rely on to keep the enemy occupied so that they can get their backstabs in.Now, I might be letting my CBT bias show, it may play differently in Destiny, which is what I believe you said you were running in another post, but I guess what I'm trying to say is that your players have set themselves up for a challenge, all the more glorious if they succeed, but unsurprising if they fail. I shall cheer them from the sidelines in my modded Stalker.
Update: I have learned to dislike the akuma less. After switching up my lance composition so 4/6 is the average speed and keeping the slow mechs in a tighter formation, the akuma has proven itself effective. Still wish it had jump jets though

Once the Curia was reassembled they gave him the chance to rejoin the Church and get a hearty pat on the back for working so hard and he told them to get bent. >>92582032You recall wrongly. Arianism is a minor philosphical trend (the belief that the Christ is a specially-created being of a different order than Man) that only gained traction in the time of Arius. After his ejection from the Church following his asskicking at the hands of Santa Claus, Arians were invited into Scandanavia as a political ploy to keep the influence of Rome and Carolus Magnus as low as possible but still avert crusades. The Gnostics have much better claims to be The First European Heresy (since Paul was struggling with it already in his lettters). Christianity proper had gotten to Europe long before Arianism and were spreading like a wildfire. The seeds of the Great Schism were already propagating in the Levant, Anatolia, and the Caucasus as well, though again some people feel the need to fight about whether the Caucasus should be considered European.>>92581893>How do you guys stand not being able to just make your own models of everything without models?By doing it analog, and only if it's fun or good. Enjoy not having all your game plans boil down to "how can I get these bitch-ass motherfuckers to stop hiding in the woods". Also, coming up with scenarios rewards will be MUCH easier. Most scouts are happy with an ERLL or a new light chassis, maybe something like the chance to pull a Cronus.

sorry for a stupid question, but do you only get to play with 'mechs with preset loadouts? or can you change wargears equipped like you do in vidya? even build a custom/new 'mech rule?
>>92585664what of it you think is terrible? the design? loadout?
>>92585970Yep, the TechManual covers building cusom mechs. Most people stick with stock because 1. Its simpler and 2. Some people like the challenge of artificial restrictions.otherwise it just becomes tarcomp+CLPL boat spam
>>92585970You can customize mechs. Most people just play with stock variants though because it's really easy to just make a completely unfun death machine with custom loadouts.
>>92585970Pick up games are generally restricted to prebuilt units, whereas campaign and longer form games typically allow refits. There are extensive rules for what you're describing. There are so many existing units that you will be hard pressed to find something truly new and unique though.
>>92585883Your mother dropped you on your head as a child.Repeatedly.
>>92585970Sticking to stock machines is more "fair" but it is well within the rules to design your own mechs, example attached.

>>92585970>change wargears equipped40k transplant detected. But in all seriousness, yeah you can do customs, Tech Manual covers building things from the ground up.
Picked up a brush for the first time in ~15 years. Here's two schemes I'm thinking for /mydudes/. The Shadow Hawk is still a work in progress, and yes I am going to base my 'mechs once I get some sand.

>>92586101Yeah, go ahead and master cutting down trees with an axe, chopping them up with a handsaw, and splitting them with an axe, before using a chainsaw and log-splitter.
>>92586182Atlas looks cooler. KGC-000 is just some stupid crab.
>>92586081I don't know about the older tech versions, but someone made a pretty compelling case for the 005 and 005r, dropping accurate LBX-20 fire at unexpected distance with the assistance of a spotting mech. Contemporary AS7-S2s and AS7-S3s are much better generalist assaults though I feel for a non-networked lance.
>>92586197You need to get your eyes checked.
>>92586211Yeah but your only going to see the 005 and 005r with Blakist or Comstar. Fell out of production because you know both died.

>>92586273Also you can't do arm things with the LBX-20 since it eats crit into the torso.
>>92585990>otherwise it just becomes tarcomp+CLPL boat spamGood. War machines should be optimal. People don't use substandard equipment when lives are on the line.
>>92585664I think it suffers from it's own success. 2 AC/20's in that much armor is an unignorably large threat. So it gets unbelievably focused, and only being 3/5 it has to either cower cover to cover the whole game, which is not what you want out of such an expensive assault, or you throw it straight down the gullet and just pray it makes it to that 6 hex range bracket with acceptable damage. It also doesn't help that the weapons you are bringing it for, the cannons, are in the arms, the locations most likely to be hit by incoming fire. The Gauss Crab doesn't suffer from this as much, and does better as a mech IMO. >>92585857>Me, you, batchall.Stop trying to pick up dates here BA. Is the gauss victor any good? I normally prefer my vics to have autocannons but I've got a spot open in my drac lance and there's also a C3 version of it so I was considering getting one.
>>92586273005r still exists according to MUL since it's just a refit kit designed to bring 000 models up to near-005 performance. It's available to mercenaries and RotS, and given its nature as a refit kit, could probably show up anywhere else an 000 could reasonably be. I would even go so far as to say 000 goes extinct because the remaining examples are upgraded to 005r.

I don't hate the Magistracy, they have some real neat ideas, but they definitely are a chunk of problematic lore. A smarter anon than me once pointed out how they basically magicked several regiments out of thin air, just in time to help the Capellans. These weren't mercs or anything, just regular MAF. Despite their level of trade and industry being about the same at that time with nothing to explain the military expansion. The Jihad passed them by almost unscathed and they've been putting out more new mech designs than other Periphery states, and the Raven Alliance is full of Clanners.I wouldn't mind this so much or would even argue for trade or company stored mercs or Capellan "Magistracy" forces, except for that the Magistracy is blatantly going for a cultural or economic victory. An extensive military isn't necessary for them, the Tortuga Dominions are distant and the Marian Hegemony was generally focused in the other direction. They've already got strong trade and diplomacy, and one of the best intelligence agencies in the whole setting. It makes them strong in every direction for no real reason and with no real setbacks or hangups.
>>92587479Just a sign of the broader shift in BT writer's culture. The Femenist Degenracy Faction has to be propped up because that was the current "thing" at that time
A light task force each of His Majesty's Navy and the French Skyfleet clashed over the coast of Brittany today. The British opened the engagement by focusing their squadron's full firepower on the French destroyer Montcalm. Its keel was broken in only two rounds of fire, sending it crashing to the coast. The French were unable to come back from this early loss, and eventually retreated.Leviathans is a fun game.
>>92587479The Magistracy got a buff exclusively to make them better pets for the Capellans. They have those extra regiments so that Sun Tzu could throw them into meatgrinder vanity campaigns that inexplicably work. It's taken decades in and out of universe for stories to maybe start hinting that possibly the two societies don't actually have anything in common and the alliance is comically one-sided in the Capellan's favor.

>>92587479>A smarter anon than me once pointed out how they basically magicked several regiments out of thin air, just in time to help the Capellans. They did. So has literally every other faction, multiple times. If you think that one is crazy, you should see how much every Periphery states military grew just before the 1st Succession War. The single biggest bit of fiat in the setting is the size of the RWR naval arm before the Amaris coup. They went from something like 24 Warships to 270 Warships in 10 years with no naval yard. A periphery state. The term "magic warehouses" has been around for 35 IRL years, after all.The fact is, army sizes have always been and are always going the fiat-adjusted by the writers to make whatever plot they want to happen, actually happen. Unless and until you're willing to shoot writers IRL for doing it, it's not going to change. You'll just have to cope.

The Annex has some interesting tech and scenarios, along with a tiny bit of followup fluff>>92586182Depends on the model, but they're meant for different jobs. Most Atlases kind of hit like a big Orion or an Albatross, in that they have a wide array of options for every range but aren't super great at long. King Crabs are mostly close-specialists that have some kind of "poking" weapon, and their job is 100% to hunt other Assaults. They eternally struggle with ammo and heat problems in a way most Atlases don't. But they also do Massive Autocannon Insertions in a way nothing else can even dream of. It's made clear that any rando bunch of people could go be colonists and slowly make a state back then. But there's massive gaps in the map. Whats weird is when the OA starts getting Star League money, they start settling planets FURTHER into the Periphery, which leads them to all die when the SL falls, instead of looking for any in places that are closer to the IS. Having more Periphery factions back then before everything went to shit might also explain the massive power of the RWR, if the RWR was like, making an alliance from a bunch of smaller puppet states. >>92587479A problem with Battletech swapping companies so much is that clear lines of progression get dropped or forgotten. >>92587659Stock Griffin is ok. Griffin 3M is amazing.Flying urbie is a meme that hte devs have reluctantly embraced because it makes them a lot of money. They've explicitly kept it as non-canon, but anyone who says that they aren't going to draw up an urbi LAM sheet is a fucking liar.
>>92587654>I disagree with you on that characterization. And I don't know if it's him or someone else, but we keep having to BTFO a noice trying to insist the Great Houses are tots ethno-states...
>>92587672Every FedRat a Taurian kills is a FedRat that could have killed a Capellan.
>>92587684>makes NFA money doing theaterYeah right. I'll believe it when I see it. His kind don't own guns like that.
>>92587676>What has always confused me about Battletech is, why weren't there more periphery nations by the time of the Reunification war? There are. They just rise up and fall over at the drop of a hat, like the Aurigans did. The ones actually on the maps are the ones that stick around for longer than a flash in the pan.
>>92587676>What do you mean by cav outfit?Aren't cuirassiers horse cavalry with breastplates and lances? I thought mech units with names like that tended to lighter faster machines. Dragoons, hussars, light horse, etc.
>>92587654He's not as bad as manic at his worst, but Manic hasn't been at his worst for a while, so I think shitty paint anon is actually worse these days.>>92587659The 40th anniversary boxes are just different box art for the core boxes. If you don't like many of the mechs in them, all you'd really want them for is the rules pamphlets, which you can skip by grabbing the Battlemech Manual, and the mapsheets, which you can just get by getting mapsheets elsewhere. There's also a new core box coming soon, the Mercenaries box set, which has different mechs plus some non mech vehicles.
>>92587659Atlas and Orion come in the Direct Fire Lance, Black Knight in the Comstar Command box. There's a seller on eBay that can get you individual mechs from different boxes if you want.
>>92587630It's not a good round, but it'd be the flashiest of all of the options available. .303 in full auto is slightly too much to be cinematic. .30 Carbine's just that sweet spot of flashy and cinematic kill.
>>92587702A cavalry lance has movement and weight requirements to be counted as one, but regiments and such with cavalry sounding names (dragoons, light horse, hussars, cavaliers) are pretty much just called those things because they sound cool.
>>92587659Any Capellan players will happily trade you another Medium for the Vindicator, and the Thud is one of their more common 'Mechs. It's very good, but if you don't like it then there are plenty of good trade options. Commando is a signature Lyran design that Taurian players will also take. Everything else in the boxed sets is more universal. Same goes for some of the other Lance boxes that have faction 'Mechs in them, it's relatively easy to horse trade yourself for something you prefer.
>>92587599Why is it when I read about the war crimes in the older books it gives me a chuckle, but whenever I read the Catalyst warcrimes its just eyerolls?I think older Battletech was better at building up villains in tyrants and pirates. Catalyst just does warcrimes for the sexual satisfaction, even if they don't make sense or have any context.
>>92587702No, pretty much everything in battletech is named after cavalry. If its named after heavy cavalry, expect a heavier force. If you want a lighter unit , look for something like "Light Horse" or "Hussars"
>>92587676>It's made clear that any rando bunch of people could go be colonists and slowly make a state back then. But there's massive gaps in the mapMost of those are just not interstellar nations. Independent planets don't matter except when they interact with interstellar nations, usually by being absorbed. Pick any random near periphery planet that's not in a map bubble and you'll find that it's got a population. Also a lot of weirdos going out to colonize didn't go out that far and ended up inside the Inner Sphere. The successor states didn't start by expanding out from Terra in organized fashions, they started by clumping weirdo periphery colonies together until they hit each other. Then they started defining the periphery as everything further out than themselves. Before they existed, places like Skye were considered the periphery.
>>92587725>>92587742Ok, thank you for clearing that up. I wasnt looking for a light unit, I picked them for an easy paint scheme. I just wanted to field appropriate machines.
>>92587698You would not believe the amount of money a film production is willing to pay to keep their retarded pet camera monkeys from killing themselves. Especially if you come with hardware included.
>>92587705Manic's still getting wiped on the daily, the jannies are doing a decent job of sniffing out his unwashed stank and deploying airburst mops. If he was allowed to post here uninhibited I get the feeling he'd be way more insufferable, like he was back in the days of namefagging. He stopped namefagging because he's permab& btw, if you watch the live public bans page you can sometimes see him catch a ban evasion ban.
>>92587742Yeah but aren't the Eridani Light Horse the size of a Regimental Combat Team (essentially a reinforced brigade)?
>>92587705>Mercenaries box setseems like a good deal, but too bad that only 'mech i recognize in that box is flea and i hate that thing
>>92587735so people try to use as many fluffy faction-related mechs as possible?
>>92587758what, they're finally banning him for his unspeakable posts? it would be nice if he just became yet another forum/imageboard's problem.
>>92587792Depends on the person. The good ones try to maintain about a 70/30 ratio of flavor and optimization, respectively. Fielding 1 unicorn Mech in a lance, or 1-2 in a company, is completely reasonable. Running a Marik force of Clan Mad Cats and Davion gauss boats is not generally considered acceptable. There are absolutely WAACfags in Battletech. But they are a relatively tiny minority compared to the proportion of WAACfags in games like MtG, Warmahordes, Infinity, or 40k.
>>92587792Yeah, building fluffy lists is the primary way to play.
>>92587772Then you're prob just best off buying individual mechs and getting mapsheets separately.
>>92587765Most units the size of a battalion or larger aren't going to be pigeonholed into a specific tactical niche. They'll have a general level of competence and equipment, but even an elite shock regiment intended to hit fortified targets with the full might of the military behind them will have their own recon elements, and a cheapo green regiment made up of people high command personally don't like will still have some heavies and assaults, even if they creak when they walk and have a razor thin margin for replacement parts. There are some exceptions, like the Marik Guard who exclusively used LAMs and light mechs for extreme speed, or the Thumpers who exclusively used Assault mechs for most of their history as a showcase of Defiance Industry's assault mech production lineup (and later as just a simple marketing gimmick).Even most company level forces won't be one-note.
>>92587633This is either GOD TIER bait or you're retarded. Considering the amount of /k/ommandos who frequent this place (myself included) I'm inclined to think it's the first.
>>92587834That was my point. They are named the Eridani Light Horse, yet they are a large enough unit that being confined to a specific role is out of the question. Therefore their name is just an aesthetic, which is fine.
>>92587676>they start settling planets FURTHER into the PeripheryThis reminds me of something I feel inclined to mention. I have a conspiracy theory on the TC in the upcoming Era. So they're reuniting with the Protectorate, and that means the Far Lookers are coming back into power. I seriously wonder if the writers about to give my cow dudes a massive power boost as they expand further out into unknown space and just start fucking ignoring the IS. PLEASE WRITERS, I JUST WANT SOMETHING. Continuing to brag the War of Terran Aggression going slightly poorly for the SL is getting old and exactly zero people know about the Pleidies Campaign.
>>92587845Nah, be fair anon. M2 carbine isn't exactly a widely known firearm. I didn't even know it existed until I ran across it playing ARMA Prairie Fire, and I've been doing competitive pistol shooting for a decade.
>>92587792In a lot of ways BT plays more like a historical wargame than something like 40k. People often try to use mechs that are appropriate to a time period and to a particular faction (though you can always just play mercs or pirates and use whatever you want) and using objectives and so on. It's not really a "throw all your minis on the table and smash them together" sort of game the way it might appear due to MWO or the HBS game.
>>92587885As a former member of the Federated Commonwealth I can assure you some people know what the pleiades cluster is and what happened there. I may not care about, because not my backyard. But I do know it happened.
>>92579332prepare to be unhonorably scouted
I thought regiments being referred to as Cuirassiers or Dragoons or Hussars was tying back to how, when tanks rolled around, tank units were still named after old cavalry formations to keep that sense of tradition. Mechs are the same way, in theory they're the elite shock troops like knights and other cavalry were, not cannon fodder.
>>92587914There are also Battlemech regiments referred to as Fusiliers, Rifles, Regulars, and Guards, so the naming conventions seem largely arbitrary. Hell, I created a planetary defense force called the 1st (2nd, 3rd, etc) Panzergrenadiers, because I've always thought the word Panzergrenadier sounded rad as hell.
>>92587903I should clarify really. The only person who knows about the Pleiades campaign in my group is the loyal Davion, who literally doesn't care. Very few people know about that minor war in lore, overshadowed by a much longer larger one.
>>92587929mechagrenadiers would be a good name for a unit of lyran omnimechs+accompanying battle armor
>>92587951>mechagrenadiers would be a good name for a unit of lyran omnimechs+accompanying battle armor...But do they throw the Battle Armor like Grenades?
Lance itself is derived from lance fournie, an old unit term for a group of men lead by a knight. Its use wasn't particularly consistent though, and those guys could be all sorts of different infantry and light cavalry, often in a wide mix.
>>92587943Fair enough, but as a periphery player thats kind of how it goes. No one does anything of note out there except maybe the MoC as Capellan auxillia. And in that instance they arent exactly the star of the show.
>>92587956In all fairness, by 1800 neither the British or French grenadiers were issued with grenades.
>>92587951Would rather mechgrenadiers. But then it gets weird when you realize grenadiers cant ride on omnis.
>>92587956a 50 ton mech can carry a one ton object in its hand right?
We fucked up. We asked about real world military terms from antiquity and our hwg nerds are gonna fight now.
>>92587961It do be like that. On the upside though, I get to basically write my own lore for mechs and units. I've started writing a headcanon/fanfic about what the models of the Toro and Talos would have looked like if they restarted their production if they started reproducing them after the fall of the Star League. Is there any interest in that from anyone? I can post it here if so.
>>92587676Remember that the OA had to trade several worlds to the Federated Suns for clandestine support during the Reunification War. Why would you want to settle physically closer to a neighbor who will readily strongarm you into giving up those colonies at the first opportunity? Steiners may have a mail fist, but FedSuns have a velvet glove. And founding colonies isn't a surefire thing. Farther out you get, the shittier worlds you get, less resources. For some planets even in the Inner Sphere water needs regular shipping in. Even if you get a good planet, what do you get out of it? More people? You won't really get any viable industry until it's got a large enough population and can be invested in, and even then, why make whatever-the-fuck all the way out there instead of your nice established factories close to home? The main reason the OA bothered with colonies at all is because it was always a loose confederation of people that wanted to be left alone and farm, so just finding new farmland was good enough for them. It is not cost efficient for most states for a long time, during the Succession Wars the Lyrans gave up on established RWR worlds because they couldn't support them anymore, that's why it became a pirates nest.

how tall is the biggest assault mech right now? not counting over 100t dudes
https://www.sarna.net/wiki/Ursus_(BattleMech)This thing is really good. Also I now realise that slow assaults with short range weapons suck dick, looking at you 2 HGR fafnir
>>92588535You shut your whore mouth. That fafnir is a national treasure and if you can't handle two piloting checks per firing phase from your own weapons theres a slot open in the Skye rangers you goddamn traitorous cunt.
>>92588533Apparently 70 ton locusts.
>>92588533usually the banshee is represented as disproportionately tall, it varies by source and media
>>92588533Superheavy mechs average around 18m. The Banshee is generally drawn as taller, and most battlemechs are 9-13m range, so Banshee probably at the top end of that
>>92588533The normal height range for mechs is around 8-12m, and the banshee is noted to be unusually tall for an assault (it might canonically be the tallest?) at IIRC 13M, so probably that
Mackie is also fucking huge, most breakthroughs in primitive mech technology were just miniaturization, making smaller and faster mechs.
other than the black marauder and that green highlander, what other supernatural shits out there? seems the devs are pushing lostech ecm for the phantom mech these days
>>92588655Less supernatural is better.
>>92588655nova cats and goliath scorpions have spiritual events that are questionably accurate enough to be considered supernatural
>>92588587It'd have to be taller, since the Victor has been noted as being 14 meters tall. Maybe 15-16 meters?
>>925886554 horsemen and Onikuma are the only other ones i can think of
>>92588687No, no. Victor is at most 1.4 meters. Not 14.
>>92586426one thing to keep in mind, as irl shows, if something is not kept in active production, once the generation that last made it is unable to work any more it becomes de facto lostech. They are recalling factory workers and engineers to rebuild some gear that has ceased production and most of those are one foot in the grave. without those they would not have been able to reproduce some of the systems. Lostech need not be made via nuclear bombardment, lack of production and eventually spare parts will do the job as well, just over a longer period of time.
>>92588655>seems the devs are pushing lostech ecm for the phantom mech these daysThe devs are outright wrong and the novels directly contradict them. Ignore fun-hating faggots like >>92588663. It's ok for some things to remain mysterious and unexplainable.

>>92588655There are four instances of phantom mech shenanigans going on. At least Yorinagas can be described as him having achieved some kind of zen whilst he was in exile at a monastery.
>>92588655Number Seven is questionably supernatural. Or maybe Terry Ford is. Either way, he drove a basic bitch Charger full of bugs and poorly installed components without breaking a sweat, never coming close to being destroyed even after taking tremendous damage. Until the luck ran out, anyway. Then he faceplanted and was instantly killed, with the salvagers never finding success with it even after an extensive refit that should have made it as good as a Charger could be.
