Most based bible translation? Fuck that "biblical scholar" rationalism bullshit I wish for clarity into the divine mysteries free of a modernist lens.

The 120-Book Holy Bible and Apocrypha Collection Released
https://www.lsvbible.com/p/the-120-book-holy-bible-and-apocrypha.html

All 39 books of the Old Testament, 27 books of the New Testament, and 54 books of the Apocrypha, Pseudepigrapha, and Apostolic Fathers, all revised and retranslated into a clean, literal, and easy-to-read translation: the complete LSV collection. This is the largest and most comprehensive collection of non-Gnostic Scriptures and apocryphal books ever produced (120 books in total). This substantially exceeds the Catholic Bible (73 books), Ethiopian Bible (81 books), and even the Cepher (87 books).

Includes the Catholic and Orthodox Deuterocanon material, all three of the books of Enoch, Jasher, Jubilees, the Aramaic Book of Giants, the testaments, apocalypses, pseudepigrapha, New Testament-era works, the Apostolic Fathers, and more.

Utilization of the transliterated Tetragrammaton in the Old Testament. All uppercase LORD is used in the New Testament and Apocrypha when a reference to YHWH is likely.

A comparison of The 120-Book Holy Bible and Apocrypha Collection with the Protocanon (66 books, consisting of the Tanakh/Old Testament and the New Testament), the Catholic Bible (73 books), the Orthodox Bible (76–78 books), the Ethiopian Bible (81 books), and the Cepher (87 books, although it has the additions to Daniel and the Epistle of Jeremiah as separate books, so it is closer to 83 books).

Leo Tolstoy translated the Gospel and arranged them to read chronologically like a story. I found myself thinking. "What, they never said that in the Bible," checking the passage with king James and realizing I just never understood it in context.
>>
>>37761122
The Hebrew version, the first passage of Bereshit alone references sacred geometry, the first 82 digits of pi, and that's just scratching the surface.
>>
>>37761937
Isaac Newton supposedly could only calculate 15 digits of pi.
>>
>>37761122
learn greek and hebrew, it's not that hard. hebrew isn't even necessary because the hebrew text was a null-factor for the majority of church history (excluding figures like Jerome and Origen who were basically scholars not laity). the septuagint will get you a perfectly good understanding of the OT. get the grammar 'reading koine greek' by decker, the bdag lexicon, rahlfs' 'septuaginta' and 'the greek new testament according to the majority text'.

Jesus is a mythology

evolution disproved the creation story in the bible

which means Adam & Eve NEVER existed
which means NO original sin
which means jesus NEVER existed

every museum of natural history in the world is a warehouse of evidence proving evolution to be a true fact,

what do religious nuts have?
a dusty old bible written by goat molesters

All gods are mythology
All holy books are fiction
All religions are bullshit

Imagine approaching a book about an Unknowable Force from a purely logical standpoint. You wouldn't be so angry if you weren't defensive about your beliefs.

>>37761122
You want the literal standard version, it replaces what was omitted and mistranslated on purpose.

I might write one.
Thinking of divining God and rewriting the whole fucking thing.
I'm bored and don't give a shit. If God intends me not to do it, I won't do it, but this whole "this Bible's better than that Bible" shit pisses me off.
Call it recalcitrance, whatever.

King James is like a Beethoven Symphony to the ears

It is the cadence and language of the KJV which has most influenced our culture.

for these 2 reasons it is obviously the best in English, though there are many reasons to pull out others. I also have Tyndale's New Testament (because Shakespeare read from it and was influenced by it) and a JPS Tanakh translation for sticky OT reading.

This ancient mystical tradition of the Hebrews possessed three literatures: the Books of the Law and the Prophets, which are known to us as the Old Testament; the Talmud, or collection of learned commentaries thereon; and the Qabalah, or mystical interpretation thereof. Of these three the ancient Rabbis say that the first is the body of the tradition, the second its rational soul, and the third its immortal spirit. Ignorant men may with profit read the first; learned men study the second; but the wise meditate upon the third. It is a strange thing that Christian exegesis has never sought the keys to the Old Testament in the Qabalah.

Ah, Mr. Zeitgeist is here to clear up the confusion.

the torah was unfolded, not written, therefore it will survive the slow creep of the loom effect. slowly though, everything that came after will give way to so many changes that everyone will be confused as to what was even written in the first place.

Germany had a combined Catholic-Lutheran translation project that involved experts working on the oldest source materials that were archaeolically available from all German speaking countries (including language minorities like the German speaking Belgians). It was called "EinheitsĂĽbersetzung" or "unified translation". The publisher Herder printed a heavily indexed and cross-referenced with a great appendix that included historical maps of the regions and information about Biblical times, like how much a shekel weighed, how long a cubit was etc. etc.
It's not in English, but I can recommend it.

Basically fuck Timothy and anything he ever touched.

Constantine and Paul are cool tho.

Probably go for Orthodox Study Bible, and skip old testament, that shit is just a boring filter to deter people from reaching enlightenment. It's just full of foreskins and weird nonsensical poxes and moral stories that make no sense and are nonsensical and don't make any sense. Fuck the demiurge and fuck the old testament.

I only fuck with new testament. Jesus is my boi
