In G's timeline of events, Red meets up with Grimm and eventually escapes back to reality. I fucking hate how an eroge made me unironically read the biography and works of some 19th-century nonce just to get a better understanding of this game. Anyways, I just finished reading Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and I was surprised at how many references BS II had to the book. What surprised me even more is that the references weren't just skin deep like by just using the names of the characters and shit. The characters in the game were also pretty spot on to their personality in the book aside from Bill and March Hare though both Bills were bullied a lot. There were some plot points that were in the book that would spoil the game like wonderland just being a dream and once Alice/Grimm wakes up, wonderland will cease to be. It was also cool how you could kinda follow in Alice's footsteps; drinking the potion, going to the pond of tears, meeting Dodo and seeing the race, meeting Shisha who tells you to calm your temper, meeting the Duchess who was holding a baby/pig and was invited to play crochet and so on. It was also cool seeing the real Lorina and Edith be somewhat properly represented in the game since Edith dies young and Lorina apparently has an unrequited crush on Lewis. All of these makes me appreciate the game even more than I have before. EMMM I fucking kneel.

He keeps learning and improving with each passing year in an unseen rate whether it's the combat system and level design or themes and narratives or the autistic detail and references in his lore but the most noticable improvement is in his artstyle especially from RHW and Bs1 to Bs2 and even then you still see more improvement in his DRH artworks.Also the way he learns a thing and builds upon it (e.g., mid-fight weapon switching, bossfights domains, variety of rings for countless build variations...etc) he seem to always utilize what he have learned and experiment with more stuff without missing a shot, the next game is always better than the previous one which is something pretty rare nowadays...I can't wait to see more horror driven themes akin to that of dlc3 in his future titles just like in the nursing graveyard or the VN section my favourites If I'm gonna wait two more years for RDH so be it as long as he makes another masterpiece that's atleast as good as Bs2.

As for why, I can't remember, but I presumed that Lewis, Prayer Master, and Alice would be somehow involved in whatever major events occured simply due to them being the major characters. I still hold this opinion because I believe that Wonderland was created by Alice(s), and it was described in the flashbacks from BS2 as, if I remember correctly, "a land in which animals spoke, that which should be was, and that which shouldn't have been weren't," which would conflict with the narrative that there was conflict within Wonderland, and so I assume that Alice actually set those events up so that Lewis and potentially Prayer Master could play hero despite her having full control, much like Mary Sue had with Elysium with Grimm.

Id think that she believes that her tsundere personality actually endears her to Grimm, given that she breaks character(not only losing her standoffish nature, but even revealing your actual past) should Grimm understandably killing her in retaliation for seemingly executing Alice. We also don't necessarily know the full scope of her activities, she could be totally justified in performing executions but doing something else shady on the side that we just don't know but Griffy did because she was around her more.
