Hey anons, not sure if this is the right thread for this but I have a question that’s been bothering me for awhile. I recently got back into the hobby and after dropping about two grand on products I had a giant stack of code cards for the online game so I decided to redeem them and learn how to play. While doing so I have seen random people on the internet (mostly youtubers) say that the game sucks now because they switched to TCG Live and somehow that ruined things or made things worse. Can someone please explain that to me? How is it worse than before? The only thing that bothers me is there is no in game chat so I can talk to my opponent just stupid emotes but that’s par the course for Nintendo and most of the gaming industry these days.Anyway thank you to anyone for answering. This era is good for collectors, normies have lost interest and the price of importing Japanese booster boxes has even plummeted back to 2017 levels for the new sets. The cards look better than ever and are back to being very affordable. It's just a shame classic sets are likely irreparably fucked price-wise
