His original idea of "hire a bunch of BdO winners and make them all play together lmao" works in Fifa but not IRL. And when Real Madrid stopped being able to outbid every other team when the oil sheikhs entered the game, he and the people with him understood the need to change the strategy to focusing on "cheap" youngsters from around the world. Funny enough, I mentioned Fifa before but he's pretty much playing IRL Football Manager now.
