Will academia get better or worse as time goes on? If worse, what should intelligent people do?
DEI showcases aside, research institutions will always hire the 0.00001% most intelligent portion of the population for their research roles. This obviously excludes 99% of /sci/fags which is why I always recommend against anyone here getting a PhD.
