so i had an old 2007 car which had dull white paint and i got it ceramic coated and it basically came back to life looking brand new and shiny

But i sold it and bought a brand new 2024 car. My question is, should i also get it ceramic coated or would it be bad to do so because they are going to polish it and thin down the clear coat and so i should instead wait a couple of years to get it done when it has more scratches and other damage
