Was thinking about picking up a concealed vest and maybe one of those backpacks with an insert for a plate, interested in anybody's thoughts and experiences with wearing this on a common/every day basis. Any recommendations/tips would also be greatly interested.

Prepare to sweat a lot. You're essentially gonna be wearing 3 layers, unless you wear the armor bare skin then its gonna chaff. If you get a concealable vest, get one that you can remove the panels and machine wash it regularly. Backpack plates are aight, but most heavy shit in a backpack (laptop, tablet, thick book) would hold out pretty well against weak pistol threats.You do you, just get a couple good concealable carriers, some breathable shirts, and solid low profile armor.
