I'm pretty sure that its to be expect, as time goes by and the artist changes for better or for worse, that the style is gonna change.As long as people recognize it to be the same character than its probably fine.

(It sure as hell beats stagnating all those years, after all)

Over time by copying shit left and right I kinda got the hang of it and I can do it without reference with almost any character. Sfw, nsfw. Comic. Etc. Took a long fucking while but in the end feelsgoodman.

my art used to suck, it still sucks but it sucks less than it did before so i am happy that i'm not stagnatingi could have improved faster but studying is boring while finding a cool image and copying it by hallucinating construction lines is more fun
