about to get kicked out of my 110th country
Still not switching
>>100130644I think 11 doesn't look all that bad. It's a far cry from the Windows 8 and 8.1 days - I'm glad Microsoft isn't pushing that dogshit UI anymore. Same with their failed phones.
>>100130723>>100130695>>100130644have you treid if windows LTSC does not have this problem
>>100130644There have not been 110 windows versions, what are you talking about?
>>100130723actual dogshit take8 was bad but 8.1 was great
>>100130794no, both were dogshit and looked awful - you can tell they were going through an identity crisis at the time which resulted in whatever the fuck picrel was, but I'm glad they got rid of it.Windows 10 is the only OS I've been completely happy to upgrade to because of how shit 8 and 8.1 were.
>>100130794>8.1 was greatno it wasn't
>>100130863Yeah, I've been fine with Windows 10 for the past 10 years. It's not as good as Windows 7 was, but it's the best we were gonna get out of Microsoft post-Windows 8.Now it looks like Microsoft desperately wants to be MacOS with Windows 11.No thanks.
>>100130644HRE German cities hardly count as seperate countries.
>>100130794*8.1 was great with Classic ShellClassic Shell let you skip over the Metro UI and let you use a Windows 7 start menu. You could also switch to XP or 95 style if that was your thing. From there, it was a faster version of 7.
>>100130644I don't think thousands of people voluntarily getting on flights in Ben Gurion airport to go to their 'countries of origin' constitutes as getting kicked out
>>100130723>>100130794>>100130863>>100130937Yes, 8 and 8.1 are great. A faster, more lightweight and more stable 7 with enhanced features. Most of /g/ say they are shit without ever actually having used them, since they promptly shut down, reformatted and went back to 7 the instant they were first greeted with the start screen.
I only remember 8 being unusable without classic shell. Same shit with 11 needing registry hacks to even begin to pretend to be usable. 11 is so fucking shit man god.
