Quite literally all operating systems released from Apple since Tim Cook took over. It stayed the same OS since like roughly 2010, yet it requires 'updates' for regular software to even launch ever since TC took over.

Salesforce, I think. I can't remember any other time that I was legitimately mad at a piece of software. Confused, annoyed, or frustrated? Sure. But trying to go into our company's Salesforce instance to add certain fields, automations, etc. was just insane.I don't remember anymore what the issues were, but some were like, I want to make a chart showing the number of X a certain salesperson completed this month. You'd think you could just filter those objects in the database by salesperson and date completed, and then report the sum, right? No, you'd have to look through forums until you found someone saying "yeah, just add a field to every X object that just stores the number 1, and then in the chart display the sum of X.field across all those objects". Just totally ass-backwards workarounds for all of the most basic functionality.
linux is pretty infuriating to use tbhngl. but i think that might be because the only thing i use windows for is consooooming, whereas linux i use for doing/making shit.
Workplace ERP where you can't open links in new tabs, pressing some buttons will reload the page and lose all changes with no warning and leaving the page open too long will crash the browser.Proprietary IDE missing search replace, broken search that is case insensitive in some modules and insensitive in others, automatic identation that eats up parenthesis and provides no unindent, copypasting graphic elements will lose some references but not others.

>>100127279When I was goofing around with Linux, I remember i3 being pretty unusable. Maybe I missed the configuration steps, but IIRC there wasn't any terminal output telling you to do anything. What I remember is installing it, booting into it, and.. nothing. Just a blank teal screen with a bar at the bottom. Maybe a few shortcuts worked, but it wasn't listed anywhere readily available. You either knew the shortcuts to start opening windows (and the settings pane so you could actually use the damn thing), or you didn't. I didn't, and consequently never touched it again. I got filtered hard.I never had any issues with GIMP, but it can be slow if you don't have a beefy rig or are running it on something that's not Linux. Was very snappy on Ubuntu, chugged along on macOS.
