what do you think about pair programming? me i like it because often i get hung up in random detail and having someone else allows me to just let it go or have a direct, immediate reference, instead of cutting my workflow asking on slack or some working meting

i spend around 2 hrs pair programming a day and has helped me and my team tons

It's great for learning by osmosis when you pair a senior with a junior, and performance improvement when you pair senior with senior. I'm not sure about coupling junior with another junior though.

It can be very good but even better if you know when it isn't helping and a task can be parallelised, then reconvene as necessary
