It's not really something you should use for MP3 bitrates for video on the 4chins.2 pass for VP9 is mandatory since that allows you to active alternate reference frames but preset 3/4 is usually good enough for ~1 Mbps. You really only need the slower ones when going significantly below 1 Mbps which can still happen with a 6MB max file size.
