I have set up Cloudflare DoT(DNS over TLS encryption) on my router and my firefox has Cloudflare DoH (DNS over HTTPS) on by default. does it override my router settings? do they work together? do i need to turn off the firefox DNS over HTTPS? whats the course of action here?
Yeah Firefox will bypass the router setting. Doesn't really matter for your case. I use DNS based ad blocking on my router so I force DNS requests to go thru the router so that can't be bypassed.
