My experience with AMD has actually been worse on Linux minus Wayland, games are about the same and general usage, but AI and video related tasks are a mess of GPU resets and things not working as expected. 20 series is pretty decent experience, now even on wayland. Sleep is broken by default on most if not all distros, but applying fixes from arch wiki fixes that.
