Every variant is going to carry over to the other unless you do something extremely niche. I'd recommend most people to buy weightlifting shoes, find a bar position that feels comfortable and secure without worrying about what the internet classifies that squat as, film yourself to to make sure there's little to no but wink and just keep the movement pattern consistent.
