Seeing how a bunch of cartoons from over 15 years ago are getting reboots/revivals, why hasn’t this come back yet?
>>143342173You must not have seen the voting PSA. This would be a disaster if it returned.

it's core concept of teens hanging at the mall is no really longer a thing. at least in the way it used to be . free range children as a concept has died.
>>143342173See that’s the ONE cartoon I can’t imagine ever getting a reboot, because it would come off as so dated, because Mall-Culture is fucking dead. Malls still exists but they are a shell of their former selves. Many have gone under while others have downsized, and teens just don’t hang out by the mall anymore. The only time I see teens at a mall it’s because it’s the only place in town to hang out, and it’s usually in some really shitty town, but other than that? No. I hardly see teens at malls anymore. What’s weird is in my area at least (Northen California) the malls are dying but main streets have come back, there’s one in a town near me where everyone hangs out and gets drinks, it even has an old comic shop in the corner, and of course it’s full of teens with skateboards/bikes and always hanging around the popular coffee shopI kind of prefer it that way
>>143342420A lot of malls flat-out ban unsupervised teenagers now. Don't entirely blame them but It's gotta suck if you're a non-shithead kid.

It could work if it really leaned into the early/mid 2000s nostalgia. Even though I don't think many millennials would be too keen on revisiting it (myself included), there does seem to be a subset of zoomers who have a growing fascination with that time period.
