>>143331767>Its plot is directionless, incredibly weak and just endsup in complete hypocrisy.you use many flowery words yet say absolutely NOTHING of substance. how the fuck is the plot directionless? if anything it's probably one of the most linear and easy to follow plots in all of cartoons. it has a clear endgoal with clear steps (the avatar needs to defeat the firelord to save the world, but in order to do this he needs to learn the 4 elements and control himself) and it does it well. it's not just the best serial cartoon but one of the best and most popular serial shows for a reason. im thinking everyone should one atla as a litmus test for grey matter in brains: you dont have to like it but if you watch the entire first season and still have no clue what's going on you should be hanged drawn in quartered.

Like I've had this thought for a while but when I watch something like Teen Titans, Avatar TLA, Oban Star Racers, A.T.O.M, Boondocks, Samurai Jack and SRMTHG to name a few it feels like it comes of an place of love as supposed to jealousy.

In the US there were a few. Maybe switch to Europe.Avatar, Tenn Titans, those are the two I can think of that are good and try to imitate anime to a tee, maybe Megas XRL can be included.Europe is full of anime rip-offs, Winx Club is just Sailor Moon.

Not that had or have any problems with those 3. Its just almost all our action/adventure shows would often come from Marvel, DC, and Disney and if not those 3, part of some other franchise like Star Wars and such.Love it or hate it, you have to admit something like Avatar breaking out of that bubble was a pretty amazing feat at the time. Also it wasn't canceled, I know there's been other original action/adventure shows and they all been canceled within 1-2 seasons
