I was rewatching New Adventures of Winnie The Pooh this week and I forgot how great it was. It gets unfairly classified as a preschool show when it's really an all-ages show with wit and heart and a strong sense of character.
It has some good animation
It gets classified as a baby show because all of the following Pooh cartoons were baby shows, but New Adventures was written with the same ironic sense of humor as the books were. It's child-friendly, but not exclusively for children.
>>143325248I have not even thought of this show since before the Dark Knight Rises. Never even crossed my mind.I can still sing the theme song by heart.>Gotta get up, gotta get going>We're gonna meet a friend of mine
>>143325559He's round and he's fuzzy, I love him because he's just...
>>143325248I think the only reason anyone remembers this show is because of the thousands upon thousands of shitty Pooh's Adventure mash-ups on YouTube that severely autistic people made in the late 2000s/early 2010s. I mean, I vaguely remember watching the original show as a kid, but my mind can dis-associate it with the crossover autism in the years that followed.
>>143325248It is for small children but it has a nice atmosphere to it and is far better animated than so-called great modern children's shows like Bluey.
>>143325670Anon that's a you problem. You are massively projecting your own YouTube habits. Most people would remember this cartoon because they watched it as kids, not because of fucking YouTube crossovers.
>>143325248i never liked the rabbit episodes. they were always depressing.
>>143325485 Definitely. I remember there was a Good The Bad and The Ugly parody that would have been called brilliant if it was done for Animaniacs.
