If Brie Larson really does quit, do you guys think they'll recast Captain Marvel like they did with War Machine and the Hulk, or write her out like they did with Black Panther?
>>
replace her with a black woman

They'll say she is doing missions in deep space and wont be back for a while, then make Rambeau Captain Marvel.
>>
>>143323937
I too would prefer Monica Rambeau.

Cast a Marcus for Carol to go into Limbo with.
>>
>>143323595
The character probably just won't be mentioned again.

It'll be the most hilarious way we finally get a comic accurate live action Rogue. They can just deepfake her face on a CGI stand-in for a flashback scene.

They should recast that unlikeable cunt anyway.

I'm betting on this >>143324601. We'll get a flying brick but not as OP with the bullshit lasers.

Larson isn't going to quit, she's just not going to get another movie if Feige's got any sense. It's clear now that the success of "Captain Marvel" was heavily dependent on the hype of the Infinity Saga and being the very first MCU superhero movie. She'll be used more like Hulk from now on, cameoing in other people's movies. They should've sexualized her like WB did Wonder Woman, she's way bigger now than she used to be pre-DCEU.
I heard there were a ton of ass shots in the "The Marvels", is it true?

She really isn't.

She had a movie that made $824 million and was critically well received, that definitely got her a lot of fans.
>>
>>143325861
Yes, but she lost them all after the disaster that was the second movie.

Was it really that bad? I never saw it, but some people like you make it sound like it was a complete disaster.

Aren't they both going to be equally tainted by being in the same bomb?

All Marvel have to do is just push one of their other heroines who's actually popular instead of fixating on characters who use the company name.

>Aren't they both going to be equally tainted by being in the same bomb?

Not really, The Marvels isn't a reviled movie, people just didn't go see it in theaters. It generally well-regarded now that most people have seen it on Disney+.
>>
>>143325966
The villain is a wishing rock, he is so bad that the movie doesn't even follow the rules they established at the beginning.
Cheetah is introduced, but she can only be seen fully transformed at the end in an almost completely dark fight scene.
Steve revives using another man's body, so basically Wondy mentally and physically raped a random guy.
>>
>>143326006
It got really bad reviews at the time, and I don't think "most people" have got Disney+.
>>
>>143325986
>>143325859
>>143326006
Well it's not going to be Kamala given how few people watched her show, though she's still going to be in "Young Avengers".
>>
>>143326060
>It got really bad reviews at the time

Not really, it's fresh on RT.
>>
>>143326092
It experienced a pretty steep second weekend drop of 79%, the largest of any MCU movie, there's a disconnect or self-selection bias with the RT score. Maybe everyone who wanted to see it saw it sometime during the first couple of weeks?
