I remember as a kid even adults would get excited for the new pixar movie and would talk about it earnestly amongst themselves, but sometime after Up and Toy Story 3 they just made a bunch of interchangeable generic slop that nobody really cared for. Turning Red honestly wasn’t that hated, audiences were mostly indifferent for it in the same way they were indifferent for Lightyear, Good Dinosaur, or Soul
