I can't believe he forgot he even made this animation, why do animators hate their best projects?

It's not uncommon for what artists actually want to do, like, have fun doing, etc. to not quite be in line with what actually makes them popular. If anything this is sort of common across many art forms, e.g. Harrison Ford is famous for being Han Solo but he fucking hated and hates Star Wars. When money is involved however it's not uncommon for them to keep going back to such projects precisely because they're lucrative or popular.
In this case, it's an animated long-form shitpost about a video game, it being forgotten by its own maker is easy to see happening if that maker has other shit on his mind.

>honestly believing he forgot he did this
He's just ashamed of it because it's actually funny and reminds him of when he made cartoons

The guy who wrote Sherlock Holmes fucking hated it but kept making it for the money. He had a different book he liked writing more but no one else liked it. I don't even remember what it was.

Most creatives hate a lot of the stuff they made as teenagers.
When you're no longer a teenager, you'll understand.

Now where's the animation he did of a girl using her phone as a vibrator, or the one of the immigrant who could defuse a bomb
Or are they all scrubbed off the internet for good
>>
I can't believe he hates this but thought the completely joke-free monkey video was good enough to post.

Arthur Conan Doyle was fucking insane. He fought in Afghanistan, founded a Christian fairy-worshipping cult, brought skiing to Switzerland, and went on real-life Sherlock Holmes snoopings at random.

I still like it but I can admit it's a flawed genre that's hard to do right. Only one that's done it perfect was Arcanum. At best it's a nice aesthetic, at worst, it's dumping all the historical nuances of the late 19th century for "Steam powered robots go choo choo pew pew!"

You fucking idiot he means when people get older they sometimes find their older stuff cringe or not in good tastes to represent who they are and what they do now.

Besides Left 4 Dead 2 has been a dusted corpse for years now, only replayed by people who play alone with mods, or in sweaty, ACTUALLY toxic multiplayer lobbies where you get kicked for sneezing.

I heard there was some kind of falling out between Oney and the guy who voiced Nick, who was also his collaborator on Leo and Satan.
It's also why Dragonz Ball Pee 3 never because of RicePirate

The Lost World, and its protagonist Professor Challenger.
Arthur was so excited he even cosplayed as Professor Challenger himself. But as you said, it got little to no reception, which is a pity. Challenger is a great antithesis to Holmes, but his cast is really weak and the adventures he goes in are far too removed from the comfy English countryside. He wrote 3 books featuring Challenger, and ultimately gave up and went back to Holmes.

You pretty much think that you're at your most intelligent at any given age, except maybe actual childhood. When you're an adult you'll think teenagers and old people are stupid, and when you're old you'll probably think both adults and teenagers are stupid.
